Banig Beach Resort El Nido

I really enjoyed the style of this property. It has a boho ambiance and an excellent pool with very cool water after a day of sun on your skin. I liked everything about this place except the very rough road to the entrance. Would not hesitate staying there again.

loved that it was right on the beach, close walk to multiple food spots. short walk to the pier for tours. I liked that it was not on the main beach because it felt a little more private and we were able to take a motorbike over to the big city like 7 minutes away. honestly it was great, no complaints.

The family room is spacious, we loved the balcony, though we couldn't stay for long as there are bugs. The breakfast was good; it's just that some of it was already cold by the time we got everything served. I wanted the pancake to be warm, but it was rather cold. The location is quite a walk from the main street. I think it's still expensive for its price and worth. They don't offer even bottled water for guests, which is pretty normal for a hotel. The water in the pool is not clean, and you can feel that the bottom of the pool is dirty. It's a beachfront, but you can't even swim in it. The water heater is hard to manage; we couldn't get it to the right temperature.

I loved this place very cozy and close to everything loved the food at their bar aswell I didnt really have any problems the only issue i had was i found a pair of swim trunks behind the couch which made me think they may not have deep cleaned the room and there wasnt really any hot water in the shower but having said that i would stay there again if i get the chance the staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was lovely

The staff are very friendly. Comfortable beds. Right on the beach. The food at the restaurant could use some improvement. The electricity kept going out. We had an incident happen in front of the hotel, not their fault, but their security cameras were off… Kept finding worms in the room. The beach out front is not clean enough to swim in. No hot water for showers.

There’s an ongoing construction beside the resort, which caused a little inconvenience for transport.

What i didnt like i love everything on this place 10/10

Has everything you would expect from a proper run hotel. (Fully stocked minibar, bathrobes, slippers, speaker, Netflix, good food, beach access and a pool in front of your room) Rare find in the Philippines -

All the staff was very accommodating and helpful! Friendly!!! Resort needs a lot of upgrades; bathroom(sink drain very slow, no hooks to hand your towels, light switch cover broken held by tape and very hot in the bathroom) dinning area where you ate breakfast (chair-cushion dirty and old), and room dirty/old curtains (stained) kitchen sink faucet broken. Resort charged for pool/beach towel 200-php per day, per person. Difficult time getting tricycle from downtown due to road into resort is terrible (muddy when it rains) serval tricycle drivers refused to drive us back. Had to pay extra to drive us to the resort.

The swimming pool is cute and beachfront . The road going to hotel is not yet properly cemented .

Doesn't have a lot of options for food

We enjoy our stay here at Banig Beach Resort. Location is close to Town and lots of restaurants along the road. It's only few mins tricycle ride to downtown which the front desk will call for you. Breakfast is good but I wish there was more options. Kids enjoy the pool, beds were comfortable, hot water shower is working but bathroom needs vent. We love the front desk staff Carmona , she is friendly, accomodating and helpful. Lacking bathroom ventilation, it only takes putting on window fan to fix the issue.

I had such a relaxing and memorable stay at Banig Beach Resort El Nido! The place is super cozy, charming, and well-designed—perfect for those looking to unwind in El Nido. Sobrang aliwalas ng ambience, and the surroundings really give that “tropical home away from home” feel. The food? Sobrang sarap! Every meal was flavorful and made with fresh, quality ingredients. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! NA

We loved this place. Our room was perfect, it was super comfortable and clean. We loved that there were only a few rooms. It is a very calm place to stay and you have the beach just in front. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for us, a little out of El Nido's city center but still reachable in a few minutes by tricylcle or 30min walking. The price is really worth it. The staff was really helpful and kind when we needed special information or transportation. /

May be the bar can add more cocktails in the menu and also can improve a little bit the breakfast.

Large rooms with super big bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Very pricey for what we got. The place is nice but we had a malfunctioning air conditioner that dripped constantly our two days there. Large bucket needed to be emptied at least once a day, and the leak was so close to the wall that half of it was leaking all over the floor in a massive puddle. Food was alright at best. Ate there once and that was enough. Pool was a little too cool as it was shaded so didn’t get much sun. The beds are also very squeaky…. You hear everyone that rolls over in bed all night. Oh, and walls are thin. We listened to a toddler scream multiple times both night.
