Travelodge by Wyndham LAX

Great location for the airport. Clean enough, comfortable enough. A price performer.

Rooms are clean, have air con (though it is noisy.) Bathroom has shower gel, shampoo, conditioner provided. The rooms are 2 storey motel style and we had very noisy upstairs neighbours, so I would recommend getting the higher floor. Tea/coffee in the room and a safe, along with a fridge and iron. There is free wifi and a small pool onsite that we used. There is also free tea/coffee just in the area near to reception. Staff were all pleasant enough. There are lots of residents here that are staying on a more permanent basis. Locally there’s plenty of dining options, iHop being very close, with Burger joints (Carls Jr, Habit, In and Out) being a 5-10 min walk away.Ralph’s and Walgreens are accessible by walking too. Shuttle runs on the hour every hour (not 24hours though) to get back to the airport. Only takes 8-10 people so you need to pre-book, but it was only 10 minute ride to the terminal. They offer day use rooms if you’re waiting for flights. All in all a good stay for the price point and I would stay here again.

Staff not friendly or helpful at check-in. Bathroom towel and window shade had stains on them. Only 2 pillows per bed. Bare bones.

This hotel was better than expected for sure! I used it for a night only as I was going to a concert but the room was super clean, bed super big and clean as well! Also the shower worked wonderful, which helped me feel comfortable after coming from a fun,tiring event! Also the property was super quiet, had a great night sleep! I recommend it!

I asked to check in earlier, so I was given the option of changing the room I was originally booked for, as my booked room wasn't ready. There's some slight maintenance necessary on the walls, but nothing to gripe about. The AC unit had a mildew spell when I first turned it on. I would've requested to change my room but honestly didn't want to take the time, or possibly be changed to a room with door on the outside. Thankfully I carry Lysol and was able to get rid of most of the smell. My only big issue would be to not order food from the 3rd party food ordering service. It was a waste of 30+ dollars.

It is an affordable room by LAX, the room itself had good amenities. My only complain was my room honestly smelled like a combination of pee and old person smell. With the AC on it was bearable and I did t complain because it was just one night and I’ve been in worse rooms. The room itself was clean.

They accommodated early check in the day we got there bc I forgot to request ahead of time. Shuttle service is split between multiple hotels so it’s not a direct ride but for a free ride you can’t expect premier. The ladies at the front in were friendly and looked after our bags for us. Pool is itty bitty. I would stay here again.
