Everything was amazing! Carrie at front desk was a literal Godsend!! She deserves a raise! She went above and beyond to help us out! We had a mix up with our card and Carrie handled it with grace, professionalism and complete kindness! When the electricity went out due to a storm, EVERYONE was impeccable with any info we needed, flash lights and even cookies! The staff was amazing!! The rooms and hallways were were clean! Loves the bathrooms too! Pool is always amazing even though we didn't use it this time. We'll keep booking here! Leaving!!

We enjoyed our quick stay at the Hampton Inn in Elkins. It's close to the downtown restaurants and stores. They had a decent breakfast, no one left hungry. The pool was small, but the kids really enjoyed swimming. They have a gym open 24hrs with a good variety of weights and workout equipment, all in good condition. The room was a good size and seemed clean. I would stay here again, if I'm in the area.

Upon check in, we were informed that the pool was unavailable because the levels were too high. An hour or so later, we heard them tell a family with little children the same thing. At checkout when we were asked about our stay, I said everything was fine, but it would have been nice to have the pool available (the main reason I booked this property and not another downtown). The same lady who was supervising our check-in was the one doing our checkout, and she said, “No one informed you when the pool was opened later last night?” Seriously?!? She was in charge. Very annoyed to say the least. It was a decent stay totally marred by something so petty.
