Staff was excellent. We had problems with the heat but they worked hard to get it fixed!!

Front desk was very helpful to us with our later arrival and getting us checked in efficiently

Great place to stay if you’re in the area. Rooms were clean and modern. The gentleman at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. He was cleaning the pool area when we arrived and dropped everything and ran over to check is in. We didn’t swim but the pool area looked very nice. Would definitely come back here n next time I’m passing through Elkins.

This place looks great from outside and the lobby too. But the rooms are like a crime scene. We stayed 3 nights no room service and the walls had blood, dirty and lipstick. I had to use our towels to clean the floors and they were so disgusting we wanted our money back. Cigarette butts everywhere and you can smell it inside the room. There was old food in the fridge and the restroom was beyond disgusting. Poop stains on a “clean room” stains all over the sheets like blood or urine. We had no choice but to stay there. We had to request fresh towel and the towels look like rags with holes all over them. White towels were grey. Our door handle poll fell apart upon going in so we were stuck outside till I moved the poll. I wouldn’t stay there even if they paid me. Receptionists was very helpful and understanding but the cleaning lady either she doesn’t like to work or she just goes there to be on her phone. I asked her to clean the room the second day and nothing.

Enjoyed our stay. second time we,ve stayed at the hotel. Clean, quiet and reasonable.

The pool was really cold.

The staff was nice and friendly the room was ok it was right next to the pool and smelled of chlorine all the time. Would of liked the place better if it was in a different location kinda like a old industrial area

The room was semi clean. I found a shirt behind the bathroom door from the previous people. The fun blind was gone so at 6:00 the sun came in brightly. It was a hot weekend and the a/c wouldn’t bring the temperature down even to relax and be cool. The maid service was non existent. If you ran out of toilet paper you had to find someone to get it. No clean towels unless you brought some to them, then was questioned as to where 1 washcloth went, lol. The smoking of everyone everywhere was annoying for sure because you would walk out your room and get a breath of smoke, not good for a non smoker. Then the construction workers that were staying Monday theu Friday was okay but drinking beer and walking around in their underwear after jumping in the pool and smoking everywhere was a little to much. The hotel could be so much more if you had the right cleaning crew and the right person keeping everyone and everything in check.
