B&B Il Giardino dei Glicini

Pleasant Stay. Nice breakfast.

The very kind reception at the B&B, the assistance with parking and the good advise for a nice restaurant. We slept very well and after a nice breakfast we had energy for our long trip home. Next time I will make sure that we book a room with a terrace.

Il Giardino Dei Glicini is an exceptionally clean bed and breakfast with a very comfortable bed in a large room and an excellent breakfast. Our host was extremely nice and accommodating and we really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to park our car inside a fence and walk downtown for dinner. Our room was on the ground floor which was very convenient for our two little dogs and my husband's mobility issues. This B & B is easy to find and very convenient when visiting the Archeological Site at Herculaneum and Mt. Vesuvius. We would highly recommend Il Giardino Dei Glicini for your next visit to Ercolano. Everything was perfect!

The host was very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and well-equipped, the breakfast was delicious. We used the train for commuting and the station was within a 10-15 min comfortable walking distance. The motorway is quite close, so the environment is a bit noisy, but it was not disturbing when closing the windows.

Superb

Really good location if you plan to visit Vesuvius. Very clean room with beautiful floor and big, useful shower. Also with nice terrace full of wisteria flowers. Very good breakfast with big choice of sweet products and some non sweet products. You can also get a good coffee for breakfast and the owner helps with any question related to visit to volcano. You can visit Ercolano city and Herkulanum by foot. There was also private parking available, Unfortunately there is one big disadvantage of location of the house. Its garden is directly attached to acoustic screens of highway. For night we closed all possible curtains and still the noise from highway was disturbing. We could even feel some shakes when trucks were going by.

The breakfast had a nice variety to choose from both food and drink. My son found the traffic a little noisy, it didn't affect me.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Proximity to the airport convenient. Gated and secure. Friendly host. The property’s surrounding exterior garden needed care which didn’t complement the interior.

Franco is a great host and breakfast was good. The location is fairly close to centre and Ercolano Scavi site ca 20 min on foot. It's very good value for the rate. The motorway beyond the garden and terrace was the only negative point.

Exceptional

Our host could't do enough for us. Breakfast was sensational wouldn't go hungry. Room was generous clean and comfortable.

The owner was nice, beds were comfortable and the house has a private parking (although is not hard to find a parking on the street). Good for a short stay if you go to the Vesuvius. Our bedroom had fungus on the ceiling and smelled a bit like mold. For some reason, people had different treatment on the breakfast. There's no option on booking to choose a different kind of breakfast. We only had a packed croissant, jam and coffee, while some others had fresh bread, boiled eggs and a plate of cheese.

The owner is very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Good for visiting Vesuvius and Herculaneum.

The room was very clean and big. The parking within a safe and close area is what makes the difference. The location is convenient for visiting the surrounding cities and attractions. There is a motorway nearby so there could be some noise. There is air conditioning so there is no need to keep the windows open. I slept very well .

The owner was so lovely – he took us to the airport (for free) at 4am in the morning because he knew it would be hard to get a cab. He refused a tip or money for the toll roads. He got up extra early to set up breakfast for us and make us coffees. Even though the room (and entire B&B) was spacious, spotless and super cute, his kindness will always be what I remember about our stay. Thank you so much! Grazie mille :) Not the fault of the B&B or owner, but – the location, although a very short drive from Naples airport/ferry terminal/train station (10-20 minutes depending on traffic), is technically not within Naples – so if you get a taxi there, you end up paying a high fare (double) as you've crossed city lines/a toll road. My advice is to take public transport, or use the B&B's own shuttle service/call reception first to work out your best option.

Siniore Franco was an excellent host and very helpful with everything. The breakfast was good and more than enough to keep you going. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. I will definitely return again and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Ercolano.

Spotless and the bed and bedding extra comfy. A great night’s sleep. Breakfast was good - lots of variety. Nothing. Ito the road but they have thick windows so noise was low.

Very clean, excellent breakfast, secure parking and very convenient for visiting Herculaneum. Location next to major road meant you could hear traffic.
