Location was great, views from the terrace and breakfast. Need to be in constant communication for arrival and parking, but it is very difficult if you don’t have a local phone and rely on email messages. Would recommend getting a WhatsApp number for quicker communication with foreign guests.

We loved this GEM of a find. Perfect location, delicious restaurant, beautiful views, clean room and helpful staff. We loved everything about this property. One thing to note is that the street in Erice and steep and very slippery.

Perfect location. Cozy room. Excellent lobby/reading area. Good breakfast served in a dining room with amazing view. Staff was very helpful in planning activities for the day. Restaurant staff at dinner were not very welcoming to a single diner.

Felt like home

The location was wonderful, easy to access and the staff helped with the parking. The communication with Elimo was good beforehand and eliminated some potential problems before we arrived. The restaurant was very good and the view was terrific.

Hotel Elimo has a very good location, close to the bus stop and can easily walk to all the historical sites, restaurants and shops. the room is clean and quiet, the restaurant is excellent, the management is very friendly and helpful, gave excellent tips about hiking.

The breakfast is fantastic, and the staff is great and friendly. One can easily walk to the ancient part of town, stopping at the outdoor markets. It's a perfect location for a good price. Nothing, it was great..

Our stay was highly disappointing due to misleading logistical information and significant internal issues with the accommodation and service. Access and Parking Issues (ZTL) The hotel's listing claiming "Street Parking" is inaccurate and misleading. The entire town operates as a Zona Traffico Limitato (ZTL), prohibiting unauthorized vehicle access. The pre-reservation promise of sending "detailed instructions on parking and access" was unhelpful, as actual access required a difficult, noisy uphill trek with luggage over cobblestones. This lack of convenient access should be clearly stated upfront, not buried in post-booking communications. Room Quality and Comfort (E2) Our Economy Double Room (E2) was severely lacking. It was stuffy and offered no fresh air. Being at street level, the room was constantly noisy from pedestrians and occasional cars, disturbing our sleep repeatedly, even with the windows closed (which we couldn't leave open due to the noise). Furthermore, our requested queen/king bed was simply two uneven twin mattresses pushed together, creating a notable crack, an uneven and uncomfortable sleeping surface. The room cleanliness was also below standard, evidenced by a squashed mosquito visible on the bathroom wall and hairs in the shower and on a pillow. Service Failure The service compounded our frustration. With no in-room or lobby coffee options, I attempted to use the self-serve coffee machine in the breakfast area at 6:45 AM (before the 7:30 AM service). I was rudely scolded by a staff member wearing a worn, untucked, white, t-shirt for doing so. This reaction was unacceptable, especially given the lack of alternatives for an early-morning cup of coffee. The hotel experience was poor enough that we chose not to extend our stay for a second night.

Nice staff. Hotel is beautiful Recommend down loading a free parking app called EASY PARK. Makes parking a breeze.

Hotel Elimo occupies a great location in this charming, historic and pedestrian friendly town. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The room was large and well appointed with a very comfortable and a quiet environment. Breakfast was hearty with lots of choice (eggs, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurts, many breads and pastries and juices. Coffee of all varieties. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was quite good with a nice view over Trapani. The only downside is that parts of the hotel are getting a little tired and in need of a refresh.

The location was very central, the receptionist was friendly, and the entrance of the hotel looked good. The breakfast was very poor and the stuff was not helpful. They seemed offended when I've pointed out to them that one type of ham was not there anymore because it was finished. In many instances, there was a luck of stuff at the reception.

Location, quality of the restaurant and kindness of staff Bathroom did not have toiletries like shampoo and the only one small one that was there was already opened and used.

Beautiful town. Hotel is very central. **edited in response to hotel’s feedback**I’m going to edit my review because I do want to be fair. I went back and checked my emails and I did receive two messages from the hotel with an option for assistance to find parking. It’s completely on me that I didn’t read that part of the message and only saw the first two parking options. Fair enough. However that changes nothing about the staff’s attitude and the lack of assistance from staff once I was at the hotel and obviously overwhelmed. I changed my overall rating to account for my error but still would not recommend specifically for families or those with dogs. *** Parking and access was terrible. The lot they recommended parking in was completely full and cars waiting in a row so I had to park 10 minutes away and drag my 2 year old daughter, dog, luggage and stroller through the cobblestone streets and up the very steep hill. Once I got there the staff were extremely unhelpful. They put me in the farthest possible room on the top floor despite seeing how exhausted I was. The elevator was too small to bring my daughter and dog in so I had to drag everything up the stairs. I was also lectured by the manager/owner(?) for a few minutes about not letting my dog get on the bed which was not necessary considering how visibly tired and overwhelmed I was and the fact that my dog was politely sitting next to me on the floor. Another guest had to help me to my room because the staff didn’t even offer a hand when I was clearly struggling. Finally the room was really hard to sleep in due to bright/flashing lights above the bed in the smoke detector and the AC unit.

Excellent location, great view. Family run, helpful and friendly.

The restaurant was mediocre. Nice service, but unremarkable, mostly fried food. Could be better. Amazing dining room though. Great views.
