Il Carmine convent was thoroughly modernized, in a tranquil location in Erice. Delicious food, comfortable and intriguing accommodation. Erice is a small mountain top town that attracts a crowd during the day so it’s fabulous to have Erice and its spectacular views to yourself in the evening. The restaurant serves specially prepared food and has choices to please. The chef and staff were very thorough and attentive. A great find.

The location is unmatchable, with parking just outside the hotel (free during low season). The hotel can be a little different from one of the standard hotels in the city in terms of reception and room setting, but it is because of the history (once a monastery), and we find it without any problems.

Super location, very clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff More convenient plug-in options in the room for charging phone, iPad, etc.

Furnace was off and room a little cold.

The shower was good and the beds comfortable. The position is excellent! We like also the convento feel. The room where we had breakfast is quite gloomy, by contrast the terrace by the entrance is great. My advise is to make use of it.

This is a lovely, simple, very quiet hotel in an old convent. Conveniently located in the historic center but a bit out of the busy center. Fabulous hot jacuzzi bathtub! WiFi was not always accessible in the room; but always available downstairs.

Location was great with easy parking right outside. Setting was so tranquil it was marvellous - only noise we could hear from our bedroom was the birds singing. Room accomodation was simple and clean. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were very welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic location to experience Erice and explore surrounding area in a converted monestary. Staff very helpful and friendly. On site restaurant good.
