Comfort Inn, Erie - Near Presque Isle

Hotel is dated but rooms were decently clean and spacious. Check in was smooth and staff friendly. Breakfast was a usual hotel breakfast, very busy and was hard for staff to keep up but you could see they were trying. Great location

Erie Pennsylvania is home to a fantastic hotel that offers a convenient stay. The hotel is conveniently located near stores, restaurants, parks, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Our stay at the hotel was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was simply delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. However, we must admit that the bathtub on the side of the wall could use some more attention to cleanliness.

Hotel experienced total electrical failure during the night, which took several hours to repair. Need electrical generator installed to prevent similar problems.

Not clean

Greay stay! Staff at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast had a great amount of choices for the whole family. We really enjoyed the pool.

Phone to front desk was not working. Front desk staff was very nice with assisting our needs.

The pool need attention as all around deck bugs and dirt in pool. The breakfast area was to say below standards is an understatement. Toaster broken and no way to warm bagels bread ect. Powdered eggs is a waste of time. Lots of little things too many to mention.

It is in need of major repairs. My room didn't have anything in bathroom to use in shower but my joint room did. TV only had a few channels. Bedding was not clean looking hopefully stains but it looked as it was peed on. Mold inside my shower in cracks and around little shelf for bar soap. Pool has a railing loose ready to fall over. Gate was never shut everytime we went to car or pool. Major water leak on second floor where I think the ice maybe use to be in there. Electric heat panels around breakfast area is not connected and laying on ground. Never had towels out at pool area. The state needs to do some kind of inspection there soon. The cleaning staff never pulled our door to the room shut because you have to remember to shut it. Does not close like other hotel doors. It would just stay open. Notice on second floor a window open and no screen in that window someone could fall straight out of it.Front desk and maybe a few managers were nice but breakfast staff and cleaning staff are not welcomeing there. Outdoor furniture has holes through most furniture to sit on. Outlet by stand would not hold my charger in. It kept fall out on its own.

all to shower heads that are attached. Also need to get rid of the soaps in the squeeze bottles. So hard to squeeze out the soap and conditioners if you are older. Please give the individuals back! ty.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our room was acceptable. The facility was convenient, clean and well maintained.

The location of the hotel was within good distance to Presque Isle. The outdoor pool was nice. Breakfast was okay, just not enough seating for the guest. Our last day, the hotel lost power and was unable to finish getting ready and no breakfast was available. Had to leave 3 hours than planned. The front desk didn’t say they were sorry for the inconvenience nor stated a refund would issued.

Liked the convenient location to state park, however whoof. Don't mind outdated, but very poorly maintained inside. Very loud in the evening sleeping hours and staff refused to do anything to remedy. So loud that items were rattling in our room.

I think the price was too high .. hotel condition was fair

Do not stay here. It is unsafe. People can access your room from the outside.

Paid a small fortune for a weekend here & I feel I didn't get what I paid for. TV is super old, froze & isn't even HD. In shower there were 2 conditioners but no soap for body or shampoo. When walking hallways lots of tears in the carpet & peeling wallpaper. My girlfriend asked staff if they could bring out some coffee cup lids because they were out. They never did, she found the box herself & opened them herself. Walls are thin we could hear everything. Carbon monoxide alarm kept beeing one morning, followed by the power in the entire hotel completely going out on a hot summer morning for about an hour. We enjoyed Erie & it has great proximity to Presque Isle & Waldameer but other than that, not great considering what I paid.

The property was a little beaten up. Location was good. Room was mostly clean.

Breakfast was good but very crowded. Had to take it back to the room to eat. Room was clean. Hallway carpet was very dated and parts were coming up from the floor. Easy access to Presque Isle State Park.

Clean room and quiet.

Stayed for one night while attending a conference. It was in close proximity to many fast food places, coffee shops and some restaurants and stores. Quick drive to the convention center. Rudy checked us in. He was friendly, funny and helpful. The property is a little older but well maintained. Our room was clean and stocked. Unfortunately my time frame there didn’t allow for time to use the outdoor pool, but the pool looked clean and it is heated with loungers around the deck. The breakfast said continental on the booking itinerary but it was a full spread! They had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffle station, fruit, cereal, bread, yogurt and more and all the different spreads for toast and bagels. They also have 24 hour coffee and cocoa set up. No gym on site. The room also has a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave as well as iron and hair dryer. Overall, good experience with friendly staff and nice amenities for a good price.
