Springhill Suites by Marriott Erie

Very pleased with my stay.Everything was clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was so good

The hotel inside and out was very nice and well kept. The lobby was very nice and had a cozy feel. The staff was friendly at check in and check out. The room & setup were nice and the bed was comfortable, but some of the outlets didn’t work, there were only outlets next to one side of the bed not both, the lighting in the bathroom was very dim and the shower caulking was moldy. The area around the hotel was very nice also. Lots of restaurants and shopping.

The room was clean and spacious. We had two queen size beds plus a desk and a sofa. One thing it lacked was to put actual bags in the garbage cans. Did not care for the quality of the breakfast. But it was real close to any other restaurants to go get your breakfast. The pool was nice. Overall, our experience was wonderful.

Love the location and the breakfast was good!!! Our room was in a little disarray but we made do would definitely stay again. The kids had a blast in the pool.

Gym roof was leaking, mold in bathroom. Kind of run down but overall was clean and comfortable.

Start was very friendly, polite and helpful. Workers there were constantly doing things and keeping the hotel nice as well as helping people. Breakfast was great and always filled. Room and entire hotel were very clean. Would stay again

The staff at the desk were very helpful and nice. Unfortunately our toilet handle was broken, they came to fix it and after 2 uses it broke again. I told them about it again and it never got fixed or replaced. When we arrived the room did not appear to have been cleaned. There was candy and garbage on the floor, shower had debris of something on the floor, there was a crushed partially drank coffee in the pull out couch and the sheets smelled funky. We brought it to the desks attention. They said they will have housekeeping attend to this but when we returned that day, the stuff was still on the floor and we had a stack of "fresh" linen on one bed and had to change the bedding ourselves. Staff were very polite and nice but there didnt seem to be any follow-through with the cleaning or toilet being fixed. After notifying the desk 3 times we gave up. We were told we would be refunded or compensated in some way but never received anything. Maybe I should have made a bigger stink but was trusting the follow through would be there at least for cleaning the room or switching us rooms.

Clean, friendly, loved the pool and breakfast. Excellent location Nothing!

The front desk personnel were very friendly at both check-in and out. The housekeeping staff was prompt when I asked for extra towels and also very friendly. Breakfast had a very nice selection, which they continued to keep stocked. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool was a perfect way to spend a rainy evening.

Everything was great and the staff were very helpful.

The first room we were assigned had a strong offensive odor. We would describe it as a locker room full of dirty socks. It also had a dirty toilet. The second room ( also a handicapped accessible room that we did not ask for or need) did not have an odor however there was gobs of black hair all over the shower walls so it did not feel well cleaned. We have stayed her many times and we were very disappointed this trip.

Really enjoyed our stay.

We found just what we wanted. Clean and comfortable rooms, quiet surroundings and pleasant staff at a reasonable price. Thank you so much!

The staff was very helpful, especially Dylan at front desk first night. Our frig was not working at all and we really needed it for all the kids beverages, so he got us a brand new frig and installed it for us, and he was very pleasant about it. He also had to put together a 'bed bag' for our pull out couch and he did that nicely. All in all we had a nice stay, enjoyed the breakfast and pool.

I wanted to give 5 stars, but I couldn't because there is no fan in the bathroom, natural ventilation is completely ineffective, water vapors are condensing on the ceiling after a shower. Otherwise, only good things. I would recommend it.

Overall nice stay. Pool chemicals seemed a bit off - floating residue on top of pool. But room was nice and breakfast good.

The room was clean and comfortable. It accommodated a family of 5 easily and comfortably. Breakfast was standard and perfect for our travel schedule. Parking was easy and located near our room. Presque Isle State Park was a short drive and was absolutely beautiful. We intend to return to spend more time there. Definitely would stay again if we are ever in the Erie area.
