Great hotel on the top of the hill. Rooms were comfortable, noise isolation was good and the staff was friendly. There is a direct bus to the Esslingen center and if you have the stamina, it takes 35 minutes to walk down and about 45 to walk up the stairs and slopes. Breakfast too expensive.

The owner called me to arrange and facilitate late checkin. Very polite and considerate.

Nice modern room, clean with a comfortable bed We had hoped to eat in the restaurant but it was closed so we walked to the town which was about 35 mins away.

Interesting setting and had a fridge in the room. Also had a bath and was comfortable. The restaurant was closed and had to drive into town.

Very friendly, family like atmosphere with staff ready to help by going the extra little mile for you. The walk to the vineyards infront of the property is particularly nice during sunsets. Location is slightly out of the way if you have been drinking alcohol and want to move around. There is a bus stop just up the hill from the property however and taxi's are always available.

Quiet location, in a small town context outside Stuttgart. Ample parking, also covered. Nice room, with all services, quiet and without problems or noise. Very friendly staff, helpful, even to keep luggage and dog after the check-out time (much appreciated). EXCELLENT international breakfast, with great availability of the chef and staff. Location not very close to Stuttgart, about 30 minutes by car with small roads. Room not huge but well renovated (bathroom a little small), restaurant inside the hotel, but no market/groceries nearby.
