This 'resort' needs a complete remodel. There is outdoor green carpet on the walkways that was stained, and smelled like urine and old beer in some sections. The interior flooring (laminate) was sticky and the floor was squishy when walking on it (I weigh 110 pounds). The bathroom is barely a closet, and the grout needs replacing. The windows/screens were damaged (screens didn't fully seal). The pool had haphazard fencing around it and was covered by tarping material (not open/functional despite being listed as an amenity). I would not stay here again.

There was mold in the bathroom. The flooring was separating and when you stepped in certain spots the floor would dip down. The light flickers in the bathroom as well as when you sit on the toilet it will leann forward. There was a loose flooring tile in the bathroom as well. The front door had a 1/2 inch gap under it to where bugs were getting in. The views were great, but for being labeled as a lodge, this was a motel that is in need of major repairs other then new bedding and curtains.

In desperate need of renovation and care.

Room odor is terrible, bathroom is unbearable

I would not recommend the place to anyone and neither should Expedia. It really needs to be completely renovated or torn down.

Nice room. Nice location. Only complaint - the coffees supplied were all flavored. So I had to get some decent K cups at the grocery store. No biggie, just would have been nicer to have real coffee already in the room.

Good for a short weekend!

Great location near Estes Park and RMNP. But the place is definitely showing lots of sign of wear. This includes the rooms as well as the amenities that were very sad. The rooms were small.

Great place to say near the entry park. It felt very safe even when I was coming in and out after dark due to hiking times.

Location Not clean

Expect to be mostly self-sufficient; rooms are entered via key code and there is no front desk. No snack machines on the premises. Restaurant seems nice but we didn’t eat there. The attached pub was busy and patrons were enjoying themselves on the large deck right next to the Big Thompson River.

Nice hotel very conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park entrance and plenty to do in Estes Park.

The rooms are nice, feel mountainy.

I didn't realize that the rooms were self check-in, that there was no office to check in at. Luckily there were some folks at the motel who gave me instructions regarding the lockbox and code. I'm not in the habit of checking email on travel days and didn't see the email from Nicky's resort giving the instructions with code and the lock box. I believe that information should be provided when searching on Expedia or other search websites upon clicking the hotel/motel.
