Beautiful

The rooms smelled of wet dog with a tinge of mold. Hallways were littered with crushed M&Ms, and what appeared to be vomit.

Poor customer service

It is a huge YMCA venue located conveniently close to the Beaver entrance of the Rocky Mountains. It’s a popular affordable place for families hence, it is very busy with lots of people traffic. We checked in a at a well maintained lodge with a friendly & helpful staff. After an amazing day in the park we checked in late at 7:30pm. Even with a late check in we were able to have our choice of 3 different buffets to get something to eat. The lobby lodge we were placed in was well worn with camp furniture & rug from the 70’s. So I wasn’t sure what to expect of our room. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into a nice, clean refurbished room with a comfortable bed & remodeled shower complete with great water pressure.

The room wasn't the cleanest, the bathroom had a urine odor when we first arrived which made me concerned that they didn't adequately clean the room. Aside from that, the property was great. Huge area with lots of amenities. We didn't use any of the food or dining options so can't comment on those.

Can't beat the view. Tons for

Great place for kids! We stayed in one of the lodges and it’s definitely a no frills hotel, but lots to do on the property for everyone! We didn’t eat any food except soft serve ice cream. I didn’t love that all the food places closed by 8 pm but quiet hours didn’t start until 11 pm. Would definitely bring my family here again!

Lack of AC made sleeping more difficult. Dining hall wasn’t worth the extra charge.

Clean room

Very family friendly! So many activities scheduled. Best part was on site roller rink.

We came for the first time and stayed two nights for spring break. It was not very busy at all and unfortunately one of the coldest days we had in awhile, but all the indoor activities made up for it. We stayed in a lodge and it was pretty outdated but we were really only in it to sleep, it was a very affordable trip especially with so many activities included. Food was great too, our kids loved the buffet/cafeteria style. We will definitely be back

Great place!
-
We had a view of the mountain from our room, was very nice.
-
Just quality of food was not very good
-
The room was neglected it felt like a literal prison. There were bugs in the freaking bathroom!! The area is cool but if you stay here you need to avoid the rude staff and get a cabin.
-
So many great free activities included in your stay - the perfect family getaway!
-
Fantastic view. Excellent front desk response, even though it was Christmas Day. It was our second visit and plan to visit again.
