Holiday Inn Chicago North-Evanston by IHG

Needs some upgrades and the staff were slow to meet my need even after several attempts at asking.

Every thing was nice.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay during a Chicago / Ravinia visit! We’ll-maintained, great views, super convenient parking!

Convenient location

The hotel seems a little rundown, but it’s a great location and the price is right. Ask for a room that faces south- best view.

Shower made sounds but not a problem.

Great location. Love being in Evanston and able to walk around downtown. Room was comfortable.

We were also charged for parking, which was not clear to me when booking. The garage itself is very run down, with poor lighting and crumbling stairs. Our room was serviced only once in three nights, and the one carafe of morning coffee was often empty by 8 a.m. and not replenished. The worst part was the customer service. When I asked if the parking charge could be removed because the advertised pool was unavailable, Mustafa repeatedly insisted I already knew about both issues. His manager was equally dismissive and offered no apology or solution. When I said I would dispute the parking charge with my credit card company, she simply replied, "That's fine." Problems happen. Treating a guest as though she is lying about what she saw when booking is unacceptable. I would not stay here again.

Not the best.Room could have been maintained better. Laminated was stripped off of table corner and some wallpaper in the bathroom was starting to peel.

Location & parking Used towel was hanging in our bathroom when we arrived; all out of emergency tooth paste at front desk

Nice size room. Very clean.

The hotel has an amazing location if you want to spend time in Evanston, and a very good one for Chicago. The hotel is quite good considering its price. Relatively clean, not crowded, spacious rooms. Definitely good service for its price. I do not have a major complaint.

The staff at the hotel were amazing. We had a great deal of luggage to store and they were more than accommodating and greeted us with a smile each time we interacted with them.
