Warm and welcoming hosts ready to lend a helping hand and a good advice. All common spaces (reading room, kitchen, large terrace) are spacious and lovely. Excellent location During our stay it was relatively easy to find free street parking close by. Muito obrigado!?

the location and the main door the bed was a bit noicy and uncomfortable and the toilet had no doors

Loved the space, the room, the shared spaces, especially the kitchen. Such attention to details. Super clean, and close to everything. The bathroom set up is a bit awkward but you get used to it. And I wish there was easy parking, but we did find street parking easy enough.

The owner Paulo and his Brother go above and beyond to help you . The location is the best in the city to explore and tons of great restaurants to choose from. Check in was easy. Nothing

Keeping the character of the building and Portuguese heritage

Housed in a mid-19th-century building in the middle of the Old City. Comfortable with modern amenities and a spacious kitchen. Bars and Restaurants within a hop. Mini-markets at an arm’s length (the nearest is right adjacent to the entrance). More cultural sightseeing within a 15-minute walking radius. A rooftop/terrace for lazy breakfasts and relaxed evenings, offering a sunset view into the magical Ria Formosa. And Paulo is the ever-available and kind host. We arrived post-midnight, and a platter of sandwiches was kept ready by him! Faro is a small town with a big heart ❤️ -

This lodging suited our needs, was clean and wonderfully located. We were especially thankful for this place as we were here when the big multi-country power outage happened! We didn't get to experience much of Faro since nowhere could take cards & atm's weren't working (and didn't know if we needed what cash we had to be able to get home if the power didn't come back). So we accepted the situation, settled in and simply relaxed here. We opened windows & doors for air flow, read books in our rooms, and enjoyed the table in the kitchen to play family games together. The host arrived as quickly as he could after the outage happened, and was available via phone before that. He was very kind and checked in on us numerous times throughout the situation. It could have been a much more stressful & uninformed situation. However, being here just felt cozy & even our kids were able to deal with the situation just fine. THANK YOU!! The stairs were quite steep to get up to the main floor but luckily we'd read reviews & were prepared for this :) . We needed to get 2 separate rooms to split up our family of 4 in order to have in room bathrooms - one of ours was quite spacious & comfortable, while the other was rather cramped. It's an old building which is part of the charm/choice for staying here so these things are just what they are. Sharing simply for transparency & helpfulness in others plannings just like knowing about the stairs was helpful to us.

Beautiful old building with shared kitchen. High ceilings . Curtain across toilet

The place is conveniently located in the heart of Faro, very close to public transport, on a street full of restaurants and bars—yet it remains quiet (at least in April). The building is a beautifully restored Portuguese palace, renovated with impeccable taste and great attention to detail. The rooms look exactly like the pictures—if not better. You’re provided with clear instructions to make your stay as smooth as possible, and Paulo, the host, is both attentive and supportive. Fully recommended!

Great location, very clean, kitchen good, outdoor seating was nice, reasonably priced, good wifi in room 7, host was very responsive Bathroom was inside the room (ie it was not a separate room with a door), so lacked privacy. Missing a tv for those who want one (eg for chrome cast)
