Albergaria Formosa

The location was pretty good, building itself was nice and old and the check in went very quickly and smooth. The cleanliness of the room itself was not great, sticky table, dust in the cups for example. Also the rooms in the building itself looked like they were under construction, there wasn't much to do or look at. The bed felt like it would fall apart if you'd move too much on it.

I thought I had a double bed but it was two single beds. It might have been my misunderstanding. Under the bed it was ab it dusty. You also need to remember to lock from the inside because I had someone try to open my door a couple times. Not the most soundproof (could hear persons in other room talking). Towels were a bit old.

We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a huge family suite. It was very comfortable with its own kitchen and living area. There was a bit of sewerage smell in the bathroom.

Great location, simple and comfortable accommodation.

I loved the proximity to the Flexbus stop...just a half a block away. Unbeatable. I liked the high ceilings and the great location.

Excellent value, clean, convenient location, friendly staff

Staff was really kind and the location was perfect! The room was cozy and we had everything we needed, even TV, AC and coffee. Check-out was as simple as leaving the door closed with the key in it! It was not that clean. We found snot stuck to the wall and a poop stain at the bottom of the toilet. Hot water took a while to come out and pillows were not that comfy. Anyway, I'd stay here again for a few nights.

Manager was very helpful. Room was large and kitchen was well equipped. Room had dinning table that was very nice for traveling with family. Lack of view from the room.

- Sewer smell in the bathroom, which the staff tries to hide with strong chemical perfume - kitchen not really usable - cramped, missing some essentials, not really any space to prepare food - dirty floor in the bedroom

Fantastically central and easy to get in and out of. Great for a night, 2 max. Filipe is wonderful. It is very basic and rooms are quite small. It’s doable for a quick stay.

Staff were friendly. Late check-in was a bit of a problem but worked out fine. More like a hostel than hotel. Small rooms but comfortable. Was very close to everything we wanted to do.

It has a great location right near several shops and restaurants. The room was cool and had AC. Room was pretty small and was lacking windows but fine for a quick stay.

Location It has no kitchen (has shared one for all apartments), it was smelly (kept open window all time)

Bed is just soft foam mattress. Shower drains away very slowly so almost overflows while showering.

Location was fantastic. Since it’s an old building, bathroom had a funky smell but I had a room spray wiich helped. Also if you are not mobile, there are stairs to the property.
