Masseria Calderisi

The concierge staff were a bit...cold? They did accommodate all our questions and requests (arranging for taxis, booking experiences at the Masseria) but we always felt a bit like we were inconveniencing them. The staff at Calderisi a Mare were also a bit unfriendly. There was no one interaction that was notably bad, but comparative to the other luxury hotels we have stayed at in Italy, we were just a bit caught off guard in that regard.

This property is exceptional. I can’t find a single flaw. The location amongst the ancient olive trees is magical. Nothing

Masseria Calderisi is heaven in earth. Our favorite location we stayed in Puglia. Nothing. We loved where it was located. The staff, the food, the ambience.

The grounds were amazing, the pool area and fire pit’s were beautiful. The owner and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were all different and stunningly decorated. We had a bottle of champagne and strawberries waiting in the room when we arrived. The restaurant was absolutely delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owner bought our group a round of drinks and focaccia before our dinner, because he felt bad about the weather. I wish there was a full spa available. The weather was cold, rainy and windy. It wouldn’t have been so nice to spend the day there. We all did get really great massages.

Magnificent property with every amenity, wonderful service, great food and fabulous grounds in the perfect location

Amazing staff, beautiful property, very nice rooms/suites, and the private beach club was the icing on the cake. Location was a little hidden but overall to be expected when staying in the area

Almost everything! All the appointments and colour palette was perfection. The room we booked was large and perfect for our 5 night stay! Cleaning of rooms twice a day was also very nice. Mauro and Mimo were wonderful and warm and made the stay more pleasant, always knowing what we liked and always trying to please and make our stay wonderful. If I had to pick at a few things: - The air conditioning could have been better as we stayed in 34 degree heat and high humidity. - The main day time reception staff could be friendlier (upon our arrival the female staff member with dark shoulder length hair was a little stand offish and lacked friendliness). - The hot water temperature was too low (was ok for summer but would be too cold for the cooler months)

Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Property is rather remote and although staff were very accommodating it was not what we were hoping for as a means to visit the small towns of the area.

SO pretty, friendly and helpful staff, always recommending the best attractions and restaurants. Great restaurant, amazing cooking class, would recommend to anyone staying to give it a try! Nothing

Service was excellent across the board and the facilities are amazing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The spa is also good and very affordable. Some of the other extras were a little bit on the pricier side.

Very cozy Masseria with beautiful grounds and lovely staff. Rooms were big and very well finished. Food was great. A few details need improvements: beach club shares facilities with adjacent club (not very clean), massage beds without face cradle, missing a real SPA.
