Masseria San Giovanni - Epoca Collection

We booked a room with a tub in the living room but we're given a smaller room without windows. When we asked to exit from the contract the hotel bitterly bickered with us. Poor customer service. Horrible treatment. Sub par quality hotel advertised one thing and gave a lower class room. Only when confronted, offered the room we actually booked. Spent hours trying to negotiate with them on my vacation. Would not wish this experience on my enemies. Stay away!!!

I loved the experience, the staff was very careful and the place felt really calm and interesting. The hotel was a bit distant from any other attractions, so we did not enjoy very much of the restaurants that were in the vicinity. Nevertheless, the hotel's own restaurant is a good option.

I loved the place, the building, the garden and the breakfast is very delicious. The property is extremely beautiful and peaceful. The staff are very nice and friendly. The A/C wasn’t working properly. The bathroom (toilet) doesn’t give any privacy with the all glass wall and the door also does not close. This is a big problem. Also the shower is all open which I do not think is nice and comfortable. The stair case to go up to the apt C is very narrow and steep which makes very hard to bring the suitcases up and down also to walk on it.

It’s a wonderful place to stay if you want to have a quiet relax time and enjoy good food and wine in the middle of lots of local olive and wine farms. If you want to have a more active vacation look elsewhere. The a/c unit is not powerful enough for summer heat. It’s not terribly bad but if you like super cold temperatures to sleep you may not like it

Beautiful Masseria, rooms were beautiful and the amenities smelled great. Breakfast was delicious: small variety of options but everything was absoluy delicious. The location is great to drive to every town in Puglia Bathroom in the room sometimes had a weird smell

Wow, we just left Masseria San Giovanni yesterday and I'm already planning my return trip! Seriously, that place was incredible. ☀️ It felt like staying in a gorgeous old castle, but with all the modern comforts you could ask for. Super peaceful location surrounded by olive trees, yet close enough to explore the town and beaches. The staff was amazing: friendly, helpful, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. A huge shoutout to Veronica, the front office manager! She was absolutely stunning, so helpful and kind, and she even recommended some fantastic local restaurants where we had the most amazing food. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated – they really thought of everything! Breakfast was a delicious feast of fresh local foods, and the pool was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. Honestly, Masseria San Giovanni was just magical. Nothing

Beautiful estate, stylish and comfortable rooms, super friendly staff, close to Ostuni. Nothing, it was all great. A suggestion also made to staff at check out was that it would be nice to have a coffee machine or station in the rooms.

The location and the grounds of the Masseria are spectacular. Everything the buildings, the trees and the pool are very beautiful and Instagramable. The rooms on the other hand are very basic and the breakfast is nothing to be proud of.

Amazing wedding at a stunning venue. Beautiful clean rooms. Nice pool area and grounds. Think there could have been more choice at breakfast.

Beautifully restored farm house. Fantastic pool area. Lovely and helpful staff especially Alice and Veronica. No where to hang towels. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. No disposable hand towels in public area bathrooms. Breakfast buffet lacking cold milk and spoons for cereal. Not much on offer for lunch or dinner in-house. The address given does not correspond to the actual location. Very cramped bathroom.

The pool is great! Breakfast could have more potential. No different options for eggs for example.
