Inn at Carnall Hall

Overall a nice property, especially if you are going to something on campus. The mirror in the bathroom was not as tall as me (5’11”), so that was an issue - but otherwise it’s just a really old historical building so you get what comes with that.

Breakfast was delicious at Ella’s. I’m regretting not eating there for dinner but we’ll do that next time! I loved staying on campus.

Love the location since it’s actually on the university campus. Pretty on the outside. Had issues with construction/remodeling and my room was hot. I just can’t sleep in a warm room. Room had lots of space and was clean.

It was on site of the University. The staff was absent most of the time. After waiting 15 minutes I had to flag another worker even though she saw 3 people waiting at the desk for 15 minutes.

When we arrived on 7/3, the hotel was closed. A massive Disaster Response crew were the only people there. We had to scramble to find to find another available room in Fayetteville. I understand that things can happen with an old building, but an email would have been appreciated prior to our arrival.

Staff was very friendly and the place is charming. however it's missing some modern conveniences. the outlets in my room would only work when the light switch was turned on so made it hard to charge anything overnight. the bathrooms are outdated and inconvenient without any storage for your toiletries (pedestal sinks). staff mentioned a renovation and that will help spruce up the place. if you plan to use the pull out couch, there will be no room to get around it when in use.

Our stay at The Inn at Carnall Hall was excellent from beginning to end. The building is beautiful and full of history, while still offering comfortable, updated accommodations. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect, especially if you're visiting the University of Arkansas campus, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, comfortable room, and the unique character that sets this hotel apart from a typical chain hotel. If you're looking for a place with charm, history, and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend The Inn at Carnall Hall. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Fayetteville.

Exceptional

This was a beautiful, old inn and we really enjoyed staying here the first day/night. We were there on Friday and Saturday nights. There was a wedding on Saturday evening. They were very focused on taking care of that, as they should be. However, the music was loud and went on until 10:30 p.m. The wedding was outside so we were unable to use certain doors, walk around the area, find a parking place or sleep. Check that there are no weddings before you go! Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to stay.

We love staying at Carnall Hall. Our son is entering University of Arkansas this Fall and we can't think of a better hotel to begin our family's journey. Carnall Hall feels like a home away from home, and we are so grateful to have this beautiful place to stay while we visit him, and make memories for the next four years together.

Great location

Basement room is no go. I could hear footsteps upstairs. Wedding reception guests were loud, disrespectful of hotel guests, slamming the doors. Barely slept all 3 nights I stayed. Great location, but if you are a light sleeper and you are trying to relax in your room this place is not for you.
