The staff at Dar Colibri worked so hard to make our stay memorable! The dar itself is beautiful, the recommendations for local activities were great, and breakfast was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kelibia.

The property was big and beautiful. There are many floors and it is specifically decorated with taste. Also it felt safe with all the doors and locks before you actually get to your room. The staff upgraded us to a bigger room after some time because of our own hick-up with the reservation: so i must say that the customer service was excellent and easy. I would not say these are the thing I did not like, just the realities for people who come to this property. So, the property is pretty far from the city center in the middle of a dark suburb (but also close to the Fort Kelibia) and because we did not know anything about the city before hand it felt a little unsafe, though, its not the fault of the property or the maison. I believe it is mandatory to have a car or at least know before hand how to manage the moving around in the city from the property. Also, we travelled in the winter time when it rains - the roads were in horrible condition, so be awere of that if you drive there.

We had an amazing and luxurious stay at Dar Colibri. The house, designed by an architect, is a little jewel in itself. Everything is perfectly and subtly thought of, however not it an ostentatious way. You just feel hosted in a family home. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The two housekeepers, Abir and Sirwa, are very professional, adorable, and tend to your every need in the instant. We also had the chance to get a massage by Mme Sameh, a professional masseuse who is absolutely amazing. We can only recommend you treat yourself and go through her hands ! If you go through Kelibia, we wholeheartedly recommend staying at Dar Colibri ! The only downside is the location. The house is surrounded by abandoned or under construction buildings, and the streets are very dark at night. Not sketchy but a little desolated - although that goes for most of Kelibia, except for the city centre, which mostly lacks any interest. If you’re looking for a nice stay on the coast, we would recommend settling elsewhere ; but if you’re looking for a little piece of heaven to rest and take care of yourself, then go for Dar Colibri ?

Everything. The massage lady was +++. We’ll rate it 11/10. Nothing but location is a bit far away from the beach so it’s better you have your own car (we did and the parking was easy and safe). It gets really dark at night and can’t really walk.

A highly recommended place to stay in Klibia. The warm welcome by Abir and the team is outstanding. We highly recommend staying there for the dinner. The food is top notch and can't be closer and more delicious than a proper tunisian home food. The house itself is a piece of art and very well maintained. The breakfast/dinner in the rooftop is a must do. Acces and the location

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and well equipped

Inside, all is perfect. The rooms have character, the food is very good, the massage amazing. Internet, air conditioning all work. Most importantly, all is done so, that you get the feeling you are not in a hotel, but in your luxurious mansion in tunisia. It is not easy to reach if you don't have a car. The area is not nice, far from the center, far from the beach. If you go without your own car, take the phone number of a taxi driver.

Warm welcome, friendly and attentive team. Rooms are comfortable with good amenities & great air con. We made the most of the onsite facilities - pool, jacuzzi (with lovely views over to the fort) and Hammam. Dinner at Dar Colibri was also a treat - local dishes cooked in-house while enjoying the sunset over the roof terrace. Breakfast was a fantastic spread as well. If you’re visiting the area and want a stay that makes you feel like family, this is it. Thank you again for making our stay so special!

- It’s a beautiful Dar - Decent food - Nice terrace - the Dar is in the middle of nowhere - it’s pricey for being in the middle of nowhere

Beautiful guesthouse with lovely traditional yet modern decor. Lovely extra services available, like the hammam and massage which were good quality experiences. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were excellent, kind and available. The shared spaces like the rooftop and pool terrace are the best parts. With a car, the location is easily accessible to the town, the beach, and the historical landmarks. Some new fluffy pillows would greatly increase the comfort of the room. It was difficult to find the driving path to the guesthouse as the neighborhood is currently being developed and most roads are dirt paths. Google maps is not very accurate. In time I’m sure this will be fixed.

Beautiful building. Excellent staff. Good food. It’s clean but it needs a deep cleaning of for instance the duvets, the bathroom tiles and the pool mattresses.

Absolutely lovely stay at Dar Colibri. A beautiful Maison d'hotes, designed with artistic care to reflect the beauty of Tunisian arts and crafts. The hosts were easy to contact via this app and the staff at the location were warm and attentive. A charming little getaway and a must-stay while one explores the picturesque town of Kelibia

Everything was perfect! Abir was with us throughout our stay she was super nice and very welcoming. They took care of all of our restaurant reservations, they even ordered the cake for the celebration. Very courteous and amazing. Mary was in constant communication with me to ensure I was good and happy. The house is decorated with fine taste. I will definitely come back!!!

The hotel itself is nice with well decorated living area, room and rooftop. The location is absolutely awful, it is located in the middle of a construction site but actually the entire area/city is a really depressing unfinished construction site with zero charm.
