Hotel Weisses Kreuz

Great location for traveling from Lichtenstein/Italy/Switzerland to Germany or vice versa. Clean rooms, clean hotel. I paid $150 for one night in a 3-star hotel without A/C. I found the A/C and Heater control panel and it was broken, the knobs literally smashed. I called the desk and was told there is no A/C or heater. I was told the window would open and there was a small heater-fan to move the air in the room. It cooled down around 10 PM and worked out OK. It's still mid-June, I cannot imagine what this room will be like in July and August. The tiny heater-fan would also be the only way to warm the room, I cannot imagine what it would be like from late September to early May. One other issue was the shower. The shower floor was extremely slick after rinsing your hair, it nearly caused me to fall. This is a big safety hazard. My understanding is that four star hotels should have a refridgerator in the rooms, AND air conditioniing. You are charging rates that should include an air conditioner. If, as you claim you don't have air conditioning because of some desire to save the planet then charge 35 Euros less. I can sweat just as nicely in a two-star hotel and paying 50 euros less.

Great breakfast, very kind staff, great panoramic room with views on moutain! Breakfast closed around 30mns too early for us :) but this is veey minor and subjective!

Charging station right next to the entrance. Nice breakfast with everything. They don't have any high chair for the little ones. Me and my wife had to hold the baby on us while having breakfast. We could not enjoy the breakfast time.

The location and the breakfast. Staff at breakfast were also absolutely lovely. The room was like being in some cheap dormitory, and the bathroom was something out of a really not nice and poorly maintained hospital. Considering it is a 4 star hotel it was extremely disappointing. At checkout even the person at the desk was surprised that we were put in the non-refurbished part of the hotel - which is usually given to tourist groups who don't stay in their room too much anyway - and we should've been given a much nicer room at the rate we have booked at. Carried on blaming the trainee working the previous day for this issue and for compensation gave us a packet of Mozartkugeln. We were not sure how to interpret this given the quite poor experience, but for sure now know to drive a bit further and stay in the tried and trusted other hotel(s) in the area.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a mix up with the room we booked so they gave us two separate rooms. The smoking area was right at the front door. You had to walk through the smoke to get in.

Good Hotel for a rest on the road to the South The Hotel is totally overpriced - I paid about 180 € for an average hotel room on a main road to Feldkirch

Very nice breakfast. Friendly staff, very helpfull. On new years evening there was a so called gala dinner for the price of 110 €. The quality of the food we got was more like 35 € worth. It was a disgrace asking 110 € for what we got. The management should be ashamed of themselves. If the drinks would have been included then it would have been OK. Also the service in the bar could be improved.
