Central location in the town. Kitchen facility is not adequate. Very few things. There was no soap available and when we asked the cleaning lady said , they don’t provide that.

Andrew and all staff were amazing. Location was great, delicious food great restaurants, beautiful beaches, and water taxi.

Nothing The location. We paid for a suite that you can't honestly call a suite. Finally we decided to find another place to stay. The room is located above a noisy square full of restaurants and bars. The road outside is undergoing noisy road works. Not a relaxing or comfortable place to stay for a holiday. Over priced for what it is. Booked on booking.com and non-refundable. Not recommended for a quiet or relaxed holiday. The last two bookings we have made using Booking.com have been disappointing !

Very loud at night - rooms face the square with lots of late night diners and drinkers.

The room was in the centre of ferragudo and there was a lot to do! It was clean and we especially liked our cleaning lady, Celia. She's wonderful. Because the appartments are in the city centre, it's very noisy. Bring earbuds.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Suites @ Portarade. We asked for the room with the bath, and a dressing table as preference, we got just that and more. There was even a fridge in the room when we got there which we didn't realise would be so handy! It was the little touches for me... on Day 1 the cleaner had seen the way I had unpacked and made myself at home, and chose to add to that by adding extra items to the dressing table, like a pot to store all of my hairbrushes in, and containers to stand all of my makeup in, it really did make me smile! :-) Location is great, and the added 10% off in the restaurant and breakfast was a bonus. Food was delicious, staff were amazing, honestly couldn't fault our stay! Thank you Andrew & team!

We enjoyed our time here and would recommend. Andrew and Helene were friendly and accommodating hosts. Checkin/out process was easy. Room 3 on 2nd floor with private washroom and balcony. Comfortable bed, great shower (one of the largest I’ve seen in Europe) and good room size. Clean accommodations with in room AC. Our room had the Juliette balcony so you could get a nice view of outside with lots of sunshine. The rooms are above the main square so you will wake up and fall asleep to muffled conversation (could be louder if there is an event happening) but ear plugs helped for us. There are steps leading to the rooms but they are nothing compared to the hills and steps of Portugal! I stayed while pregnant and had no issues. We liked everything.

If it was possible - I’d give negative stars to the suits. Before booking this place please be sure that it’s indeed your type of accommodation. The suits are located on the main squire and all rooms are facing the squire. There are multiple bars and restaurants on the squire and it’s constantly extremely loud from the squire in the room (no soundproof at all), please have a look at the pictures. The crowds are shouting, loud music is there all day and night. Multiple activities are happening on the squire all the time and all that crazy loudness is in your room. If you wish to have a quiet stay - it’s not your thing at all. After 2 sleepless nights I just left the suits (even that I paid already for another 2 nights there and nobody refunded me the payment). I found a much quieter accommodation nearby and have never regretted. The suite is tiny, no facilities to dry the swimming stuff. Cleanness 3/5. The furniture is shabby. No value for money at all.

Location, staff/host, everything really Nothing

Set in a bustling plaza, the location couldn't have been better. Easy walking distance to a good selection of restaurants and bars. The owners were very helpful, and provided us with a discount card for several family-owned eateries nearby. As the room looked out on the square, it did get quite noisy at night. I was charged € 27.50 on a € 100 withdrawal from the ATM machine near the front entrance of the hotel, even though I have a Portuguese bank account. Do not use this ATM machine, you will be ripped off, look for a Multibanco machine in Portimao. Also the fridge in the room did not work.
