Very quiet and beautiful property the host mounir was very kind and helpful going above and beyond to help me … recommend good location located in the old city Medina definitely will come back

This property has a beautiful courtyard, clean room, delicious breakfast, and amazing customer service. It is a quiet location that is very close to the markets. The receptionist Mounir provided us great services, he was helpful in making sure all our needs were met, and assisted in guiding us from the taxi to the Riad.

Dar Hafsa is a beautiful inn very well-located in the Fez medina. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, breakfast was outstanding, and I can't say enough good things about the staff. Both Kareem and Mounir were so helpful and kind... They made our trip so much better! Fez can be an overwhelming place, but coming back to Dar Hafsa was like coming home. I loved everything. My only small suggestion is that the rooftop terrace could be made a bit more hospitable. But this is a tiny quibble in an otherwise amazing stay!

Excelente atención, Mounir estuvo muy pendiente en todo momento de nosotros, el desayuno espectacular. Todo limpio, aseado, la habitación muy cómoda

Breakfast - it was abundant and tasty! The staff really accommodated everyone's preferences! Location - It is in the heart of Medina, but yet secluded so that there is no outside noise. Room - it was comfortable! Staff - everyone was really nice and helpful! They speak English really well, so it was easy to communicate :) The only thing that bothered me is the bathroom - it was clean, but it seems a bit unfinished. There was no door but rather a curtain for privacy. But, I can say that we saw that in multiple cities and stays, so it seems to be a common thing.

The hosts are incredibly hospitable and kind; they even took us through the Medina to help us find good deals on souvenirs and pointed us toward the best restaurants and attractions. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30 AM and features a variety of breads, olives, pastries, and eggs. The riad also has a rooftop with a beautiful view, and our room was both clean and comfortable. Laundry service is available for an additional fee, which was very convenient. The location is situated right in the Medina and within walking distance of many wonderful sites. Additionally, the hosts helped us arrange a day trip to Volubilis and Meknes. Our driver, Saed, was excellent, and we highly recommend him! Make sure to bring plenty of cash. Most businesses are cash only. Also make sure to negotiate for any prices for souvenirs.

Host was very kind and personable, gave us great recommendations and walked us to dinner our first night. Very pleased with his hospitality.

Beautiful place. Room spacious and clean. The tile and architectural details were stunning. Family run. We were told it has been in the family for 120 years! Aziz met us and led us to the Dar which allowed for a stress free arrival. He was incredibly quick to communicate via whatsapp and booking.com messaging. His dad greeted us upon arrival and gave us options for tours and dinner. We agreed to his recommendation on dinner which involved someone from the restaurant escorting us to and from. This is perfect for anyone arriving late, tired and hungry! The restaurant was amazing! A special shout out to Mounier (spelling?) who works reception 24 hours a day. He is a gentle, sweet guy who will do anything for you without hesitation. What stood out most about Dar Hafsa was the staffs genuine desire to ensure we had a good stay. The only thing I would have preferred was a better rooftop terrace situation. There had been extensive rain damage and they are in the process of refurbishing. There was some tattered old chairs but nothing that encouraged relaxation on the rooftop. It will be a beautiful space once cleaned up.

Great location, tucked away in a quiet alley. Staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional.

The location was perfect, away from the noise of the streets. The family who runs the place was very kind. We had a room on the third floor, which was fantastic for sleeping at night. During the day the room can be noisy because it is close to the terrace.

A lovely Dar (renovated house) accommodation in a very convenient location a small alley away from one of the main streets thru the Medina. The owner is both charming and multi-lingual and eager to organize activities. Any need or requests were met by the always available Mounir, eager to assist in any way with a jovial attitude. A hearty Moroccan Breakfast is served in the ground floor courtyards including yogurt and egg with many Moroccan breads and pancakes. My room and bathroom had great lighting, perfect for reading and shaving, a comfortable bed and hot shower. For the price paid this was an outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending. Showers are set up to make the bathroom floor wet which isn't ideal so asked for a new shower mat each day Like all Riads, the court echoes talking into the rooms. I knew this beforehand so even a large group of very loud older friends traveling together was not problematic as the owner attempted to keep their chatter in check.

Great location, lovely host and staff. Very accommodating. Nice breakfast in the mornings and good recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, hammam, etc. We felt very welcome and taken care of from pick up at our parking to drop off after our stay. Thank you!

Inside is very nice and welcoming. Good value for the price. Given it is deep in the Medina it will be quieter, but again there are a few dark alleyways you must walk to get to this Dar. Overall, the service and man working the Dar is very kind. Difficult to find, deep in Medina and be aware of locals insisting taking you to the Dar for “free” only to insist on tips afterwards.

The riad was very lovey, Staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. The location was pretty good as well. Very close to a lot of nice markets and restaurants. The only issue was that the credit card machine was down and we had to walk 15 minutes to use a credit card machine at another business. But otherwise, I was very happy.

Staff are kind. He brought me tea and treats while I checked in
