the house is private owned, only a girl worked at the property. Our stay period we are the only guest. Room size is good size with 3 beds. Bathroom is outside of the room. little outdated facilities. But location is good.

The room was clean and the host Kenza was very pleasant and accommodating. The pillows can be improved by using real down feather pillows.

This property is a treasure. It is located in a quiet alley, yet very close to the medina’s main street. The courtyard is tastefully decorated and comfortable. Our room is a nice size. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the city and a very nice setup. We greatly enjoyed staying here. The bathroom is not fully enclosed. We have stayed at a different riad and it has similar setup. I assume that it is common among riads.

It is traditional Moroccan house that you can experienced traditional Moroccan culture. Rooftop has nice view. The staffs are very nice.6 The property is typical aged Moroccan house. I booked the room with external bathroom. It is not convenient because the bathroom is not next to the room, it is on the another side. The front road was repaired on the first day we arrive. It is very dark on the night.

Dar Hayati provided us with a comfortable stay in a heated room. Kenza offered fine hospitality, and a breakfast was served each day. The Wi-Fi worked well. The location is a bit out of the way from the main medina. A porter is useful in getting bags to and from the dar.

Dar Hayati is in a great location. It's near one of the main streets of the medina, but it's tucked away in a quiet location. The Blue Gate is about 10 minutes away and there's a parking lot that's very close too. This is helpful because you will not have to pull your luggage very from when you arrive by car to the medina. The stay was clean and quite comfortable. My room had A/C and heating. Breakfast is included. They also offer laundry services. Kenza helps manage three place. She's great! She goes out of her way to take care of guests. ??

We loved the host! She was so kind and welcoming. It was very peaceful to walk in from driving all day and the hustle and bustle of the streets. We wanted to hang out at the Riad all night!
-
The property is a Dar which is a bit smaller than a Riad. The proximity to the center of the Medina is well positioned although the street leading up to it is not well maintained. It’s in a safe location. Not an issue for us, but there is no door separating the bathroom.
-
The staff, breakfast, comfortable firm bed, hot shower. The room was spacious and not too far from a Medina entrance (blue gate). The views from the roof terrace were breath taking. No complaints
-
Great location for exploring the Medina. Close to a minor entrance so you don’t have to carry your bags too far. They could use a little more signage showing the direction to the riad. Arriving late at night can be a little intimidating. The way there has a couple of dark spots. An escort from the riad would be helpful.

very bad first impression. we notified them our flight was late and was it OK to arrive about midnight. was told it was fine. having never been to a Medina, was not happy to be told its only a 2 minute walk from the alley we were dropped off. to have to find our way through dark alleys full of cats and trash carrying luggage down alleyways was awful. no one came to meet us to show us the way. signage was not enough to guide us Upon finding the dar, thank you google maps, the owner was slow to let us in. our driver had just talked to him so he knew we were coming. he pointed to a room off the common area. i found the room to be very dark. very small. white sheets and nice bedding would have made a big difference. there were extra blankets but did not know that the first night. was not shown ac. first night was rough. hot and uncomfortable. the next day we felt a little better. our fault we were not aware of what staying a Medina would be like. but someone should have helped us find our way there. it was very uncomfortable getting there. was not happy w the brown waterstained bottom sheet or the covers on the bed. was better when we covered them w extra blankets. the steps were uncomfortabe for me. small and turning. we cut our stay one day short and went to a hotel in the city.
-
Wonderful Dar right off the main street in the medina, with a beautiful panoramic view of the city from the rooftop. We felt very welcomed by Oussama and the staff, beginning with the traditional tea and a quick guide to the city. We appreciated his tips and recommendations and had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great location in the medina, friendly staff and good breakfast every morning. Bathroom down the hall

Dar Hayati is well located, very close to one of the main streets of the Fez medina. I was able to find it easily, which can sometimes be a challenge in the labyrinthine streets of medinas. The building is an old, traditional, and well-decorated house, and although it is located in the center, it was quiet at night. These old buildings aren't soundproof, but the other guests respected the silence during the night, allowing me to have peaceful nights of sleep. The room was exactly as described, comfortable and clean. There's also a terrace with a great view over the medina. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and on my last day, since I had to leave early, they kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for me. There was a slight, noticeable smell in the building, which is understandable given the age and type of construction, but it did not affect the comfort of my stay.

Everything! The staff is very kind and helpful as well as the owner. The house itself if beautiful, very good taste in the decoration and design. Great location. Amazing breakfast. I have stayed in 3 hotels and Dar Hayati has the best rooftop by a mile.

Ousama and staff are super welcoming natural professional very kind. They were attentive throughout our stay. The road felt like home after a busy day walking around. The breakfast is wonderful fruit yogurt Daiky assortments of jams honey best tea ever and and local savoury and sweet cakes perfect to start the day. Ousama very kindly helped carry our luggage up the stairs. The view of this road is priceless from the top of the entire city hearing the call to prayer at the top sitting area echo across the city was very special. Made our stay I fez very special and unique. WiFi is superb hot water and pressure perfect. Bathroom and road so clean. Ousama is one of a kind human embodies the kindness and genuine nature of people of fez! We loved everything but The family room on top floor is nice lovely for four people but maybe has too much furniture in a small place (couch maybe too big for space?) would be very nice with just while linen beds. I felt more was invested in other rooms seemed nicer ! An upgrade / slight redesign would be amazing !

Great location and breakfast. Accommodated take away breakfast for early departure Had a bit of a weird smell

This was s the best experience we’ve had in our whole trip. We were greeted with hot tea. The breakfast was amazing! We received quick responses for questions or specific needs. The roof top is a plus for great views, for drying clothing, or for relaxing. We regretted not staying at least one more day.

Excellent location in the Fes Medina. Yet the Dar Hayati is set back away from the busy area. Very clean and super quiet. Has a really nice roof top to relax and unwind. Breakfast is included. The hostess on the property Kenza was wonderful. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and our needs met.

Dar Hayati is spotlessly clean and both Oussama and Kinse are always happy to help with anything. Generous breakfast was appreciated. Would love to return and recommend 100%. Everything was fine :-)
