B&B Le Cannelle Fiesole

Breakfast was great with a good selection of sweet and savoury foods. Coffee was excellent and Laura was very pleasant and helpful. We had a triple room so it was very comfortable for a couple. Le cannelle is in a great location not far from Piazza Mino, restaurants, bars and public transport to Florence. Parking is a bit of an issue but as this was our 6th visit to Fiesole we knew to park in Casa del Popolo car park further up the road. There is a little side street near the B&B you can park for a couple of minutes to unload luggage etc. it means blocking the road for a little while.Internet is very erratic luckily our phones had unlimited data so this was not an issue.

Incredibile hospitality and perfect tucked away location in Fiesole. Stef was so kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable in our room - even filling a bowl of cool water for our dog. The hotel itself is charming and beautiful with historic details. Truly unique! The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the AC. For those who complain about parking or narrow streets, come on! This is Italy and no fault of the hotel. Travel here always comes with these small challenges. Nothing! We were only sad to leave the next morning before a beautiful breakfast was served.

We enjoyed our stay with you. The room comfortable. A lovely breakfast. The location just right for bus ride to Florence and a walk to or dinner in the square. Many thanks.

We could not stay due to road work I have made the booking at 16:00 and as we were going from Bologna airport to Fiesole, the road was closed. We met a policeman and he told us the road is closed and we have to make a huge circle to arrive to the city. At 17:00 I asked Booking to cancel the reservation. But the B&B Le canelle did not agree to do it. I have explained them our position and we have a meeting to catch in Florence but they did not agree to cancel the reservation and chraged us fully. Yes, the reservation was irrevocable but for just an hour they may show us Italian Hospitality and Cordialty.

The breakfast amazing. Also the girl from the reception as well. Breakfast only from 8am on..not great...I wake up early. Shower was just a mess...in the bath without any curtain...water all over the place

Nothing really This is a truly bad experience for us. 1)the B&B is next to a very busy narrow street with fast running cars. There is almost no space to stand to open the gate with luggages, don't t even talk about space to park to unload; 2) room is old and tiny. We can hardly find space to unpack two 24" luggages 3) poor amenities. Only one washed and changed sheet and a thick dark blue color sheet on the bed, no comforters. The blanket in the closet looks old and dirty but we had to use it since it's cold already in Oct. We stayed two nights here. The hotel didn't provide any water, shampoo or soap for the 2nd night. What provided in the first night are one bottle of water, and two small one-use bags of each shampoo and body soap for two persons. Even garbage was not taken away for one of our two rooms. 3) the hotel manager were very impatient and impolite. I was only confirming if my two rooms were paid through Booking.com (since all my other booking through booking.com were prepaid), she gave us dirty looks/ speeches about booking com not allowed to charge our credit card, and started to pull my credit card through booking website and annually typed in my numbers. Had no willingness to explain at all.

We did like the town. The staff were friendly and breakfasts were very good. The parking was very bad. It was a crowded and very difficult to find parking where there weren't fines. The legal parking was mostly taken. The B &B was also along a very busy road with about 1 foot of sidewalk to enter the facility.

Excellent breakfast and the young lady at the breakfast was amazing. Friendly and helpful, very pleasant. The breakfast was great in a very nice setting. Rooms were fantastic with great sheets. Unfortunalty when arriving with the car, the lady during check in was not very helpful with assisting with parking. The parking situation was complicated and although promised help with luggage, when we arrived we didnt receive any help.

Very welcoming and friendly host, great location and lovely breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was not great, we expected some more windows in the room.

One extremely nice helpful receptionist.who made the next morning much better. The receptionist who checked me in was offhand, and impatient and seemed to blame me for neither me or the taxi driver getting the given phone number to answer. She shut the place up immediately and disappeared before I could get a map. It was raining and there was nowhere except the basic room.

Laura, Stephanie, and Kiara were excellent hosts. Intelligent, interesting, welcoming. The room was very basic, not enough coat hangers, some broken/unusuable. Only one bottle of water provided for the whole week. Room needs some attention/maintenance. Toilet seat broken and moved when sat on, paint chipped and in some areas down to the wood which isn't very hygienic. Very little space to get out of the shower without the glass door banging the wall, would not be suitable for larger people. Shower needs deep clean, re grouting and new door/base. No handle on the in inside. Floor slippery when wet. If staying more than 2 nights, breakfast is not acceptable. We had the same offering every day for the 6 days we were there. Would be an issue if you don't eat meat or cheese, only other food would be slithers of omelette, cake, yoghurt and dry bread. On the last day we found a lovely bakers down the road and bought our own bread for breakfast. Such a shame there wasn't more choice as the week went on. Some lovely fresh pastries and bread in the local shops, but we're served supermarket substitutes.

Great and cozy location! Stefania was great in taking care of us and our dog. She was super friendly and very accommodating!

Breakfast as very good. Bed was very hard!
