Hotel Thira

Everyone on the staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They assisted us with dinner reservations and offered excellent lunch recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the hotel's central location made it easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. There was nothing that we didn't like.

The staff was very friendly. It was clean and well maintained. A short walk to downtown Thira.

The staff were super kind and accommodating as we checked out early and needed to leave our luggage and come back and shower after our tour. The location was perfect as we were budget traveling but still close enough to hop on the main street and the caldera. The owner showed us the short cut path that leads right to Fira central square. The views of the other side of the island and water were SO amazing right from our room door. It was nice that the door half opened to let in the sun. We came in a wind storm and it was very cold and rainy so it was nice to have a working heater. Wish we could've used the pool but it was really too cold outside the days we were there. Room was spacious for us three girls and and very pretty. Felt very safe as a small group of female travelers. room door was a little tricky to open shower head looked moldy blue

Staff was superb - Eva & Maria gave us good recommendations about where to eat (No Name Grill restaurant was excellent) and touring alternatives given the extreme windy weather. Maria was super kind - she saw us walking back to Fira centre and offered us a ride - a real god-send since it was a long travel day. While the hotel was further away from the main strip, we really love the location as it's nice & quiet and close to the footpath that bring us to the shops or to the trail to Imerovigli and just a few minutes away from the small convenience store. We also enjoyed the breakfast - for 10 euros, we have a lot to choose from - freshly cooked eggs and bacon, yogurt, fruits, pancakes, home-made cakes and Greek omelettes - Joy, the breakfast cook is a "joy" and a clear asset to the hotel - she's so friendly and helpful. Truly, we have appreciated our Greek hosts and would return to Hotel Thira if / when we come back next. nothing... the stairs from the road up to the reception need some effort esp with luggage .. but that's what's needed to get the beautiful view !

Excellent location, owners helpful and cheerful, front desk (Eva) always available to help. Apartment was spotless with fresh towels every day. Breakfast was good value. Αντωνία had always a smile and tried to please through out the meal. Nothing. All very good.

Very nice staff/owners that made us feel right at home. They gave us a little gift at parting that was so thoughtful. They helped us with booking a transfers and helped us set up with a crib for the baby. Overall, great. We lost power and had a bright green light all night in the room that made it hard for us to sleep. It’s probably for safety but it was a little too bright.

Maria was amazing. I had a wedding bridesmaid dress emergency and Maria took my dress to the laundromat to get it taken care of. A 5 min walk to dow town Fira. Amazing breakfast... shout out to Joy. Rooms were spacious and clean. Will come here again N/a

We had the best time at Hotel Thira! The staff was so nice, the place felt like home. The rooms are comfortable with AC, a refrigerator, and a balcony. Everything went needed. Loved having breakfast with Joy and the entire staff was so helpful and nice. The Pool is good as well! Best stay on Santorini.

Hotel Thira is really nice, family run and all the staff go out of their way to make guest happy. From the moment we were collected when we arrived, to leaving, every one of the staff was smiling, courteous, and dedicated to their role. We would particularly mention Joy, who was a ray of sunshine preparing and serving breakfast each morning. The hotel itself is great, in pristine shape, and in a great location just minutes from Fira centre shops, restaurants and the caldera. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return. We can’t think of anything.

We loved our stay - it more than exceeded our expectations. We loved the room and the value for what it was, you more than get the Santorini experience without spending too much! The staff were friendly, and we loved the room, especially the gorgeous bathroom and outside sitting area. We loved our stay - would go back again in a heartbeat!
