Danae Villa

Evi was a delightful host. The property is located around 10 mins from Fira and has a beautiful pool. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable with AC. The stay had everything we needed and we felt right at home. Note that the walk to town can be a bit steep.

We had a wonderful time and stayed for 7 nights. Evi is such a wonderful hostess, nothing is too much of an ask and it is clear that she loves what she does, and it really shows. The rooms were very clean and regularly tidied, with the towels replaced every other day. Likewise the pool and hot tub are well maintained and the space is brilliant for relaxing. Evi provides a superb breakfast and it is clear that she cooks with love, and as a really nice touch allowed us to select our last breakfast, as she has many different breakfast options she rotates through. This rotation meant we never got bored and were always excited to see what we got each morning (which is not always the case when I stay in a hotel). I cannot recommend this place enough, it's lovely and Evi is an absolute gem of a person.

Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, very clean

The hot tub was not turned on and was cold. The location is a bit far from the center of Fira and up and downhill which made it difficult to get to with big luggage.

The pool, the location, the comfortable bed, good parking, the owner was very gracious. There was a lovely homemade breakfast every morning. It was nice and secluded and very quiet. The pool was lovely, though it was very shaded, and given the time of year we were there, it was pretty cool for us so we ended up not using it. The hot tub was pretty much the same temperature as the pool, which was a little disappointing. If you’re up for a polar bear swim, you’ll really enjoy it, though! It was a little bit of a hike from the bus stop, but it was well away from the traffic which made it nice and quiet.

The location is quiet, but that means a 15 minute walk uphill to get to the main strip in Fira.

Evi was fantastic. Extremely helpful, nice and very welcoming of her guests.

The staff were exceptional and couldn't do more. The breakfast offered each morning was lovely and a great way to start the day. Lovely, small hotel within walking distance of Fira.

We loved the owner Evi’s friendly and warm service. We stayed only 2 nights in Santorini, so she suggested 1 day sightseeing tour to let us enjoy the whole island in the limited time. It was really considerate. Also, she gave us a quick response to our request on email. It was very helpful. Nothing:)

Exceptional

Each morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with care by Evi herself. The variety and freshness of the food were amazing, and it was the perfect way to start the day before exploring the island. The location of Danae Villa is great—just a short walk from the center of Fira, but quiet enough to relax after a long day. If you're looking for a place in Santorini that feels like a home away from home, Danae Villa is the perfect choice. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you, Evi, for making our stay so special!

The Villa is extremely well kept, comfortable, nice . The pools are wonderful to chill before/after some walks around Fira. And the owner, Evi, really knows how to cuddle her guests. Moreover, the area is peaceful and allows for a beautiful view of the east side of the island, with a cute little church just one minute from the hotel.

Exceptional

It was very quiet and comfortable! Evi, the owner, is veey friendly and cares about the people on a personal level! She came to pick me up from the airport and she was willing to drop me anywhere I wanted! She provides also homemade apple pie, coffee and pancakes free of charge! I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to see the Greek hospitality! The room was amazing and renovated! The only negative thing was that the wifi was not very strong (the signal was coming and going) and the blanket that I took from the wardrobe I am not sure if it was clean because it had some hair on it. Despite these, the room is really worth it!

Evi was a great host.We were given lots of good local advice and Evi provided coffee,cake ,pancakes and yoghurt with honey each morning.A very nice personal touch.Although a short uphill walk to centre the apartment was close to centre of Fira.

They were super thoughtful and welcomed us with cold water and freshly baked lemon cake. The staff are quick to help and hands on. We had a delicious breakfast as well and they were happy for us to check in early, once the room was ready Nothing, it’s a bit of an uphill walk to Fira(important to note). And we would have loved some teaspoons in the room as well.

The host was amazing, gave us delicious cakes and coffee every morning! The location was ideal and very easy to get around with the public buses only a 10 min walk away! Amazing suites with balcony that overlooked the pool! Loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

The owner is a lovely, very hospitable lady. The villa is located in a quite part of Fira away from clubs and bars but it is within short walking distance to main attractions and a bus station. The view from my balcony was amazing, especially sun rises. There is also a small pool within the property. I highly recommend this property. Everything was perfect!
