Under construction inside and exterior. All doors were locked. We didn’t stay here.

Smoke alarm began chirping at 11pm on our first night. I called the front desk and was told that they would send someone up. Waited patiently for 20 minutes and then called again to which she replied, “Is it still chirping?” She had clearly not sent anyone. The attendant then came up herself and took the entire smoke detector out of the wall. The stairway door next to our room slammed shut every time someone went through it, waking us up throughout the night and becoming unbearable when the construction workers began arriving early in the morning. Breakfast was in a side banquet room with minimal warm options. Not sure if the limited selection was due to construction or normal. It was well maintained and the employee working it took great care to keep the items fully stocked and fresh. It will likely be a nice stay when the construction is done but I would definitely avoid it until then and I would NEVER get a room near the end stairways again.

Although the hotel was under renovation, they did a very good job keeping the building clean and not disrupting the guests. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was very comfortable and seemed like brand new!

The beds were very comfortable, staff was helpful, it was a little loud in the building becauae of renavations but once complete im sure this hotel will be all around great to stay at

Booked this hotel specifically for the room with a whirlpool tub. When we arrived, we noticed they were doing construction outside as there were 2 large lifts taking over half of the parking out front. Once inside, we could see they were doing complete a complete interior renovation. When checking in, the clerk told me that our room was on the 4th floor and that it was the first to be renovated. We got to our room and the first thing I saw was there was a shower and not a whirlpool tub as I had reserved. I called the front desk and she said that their page information was not updated and the renovation was removing those rooms. Ultimately they did offer to refund half the cost, but would have preferred to know upfront so I could have booked elsewhere.

Breakfast was worst than hospital food, bland overall. Just one of my worst stays ever and I travel a lot.

In all fairness, they are doing a full remodel. It looks like they just started though. Maybe it’s been in the planning stages for some time so they let the property go a bit, not sure. My room smelled like BO, wallpaper was peeling everywhere, bathroom fixtures broken (but working). Air conditioning unit facade falling off the wall, carpet worn out and dirty looking. That said, maybe in a few months it will look like a new place due to the serious pending remodel. I stayed at the end of March 2026. I cannot complain about the continental breakfast! It was pretty decent!

There was remodeling, but it was still kind of rundown a little bit especially the pool area. It’s supposed to be heated, but there is no heat in the pool.
