Good location, decent rooms/bed Recommended

The staff was nice, room as described. They had parking for us with a towed trailer. Not the greatest part of town, but just a few minutes to the downtown area. The A/C was a little loud. Didn’t try the pool or corn hole or bocce - they do have free bikes to use.

Great stay! Fun kitschy rooms. Plush towels and linens. Would stay again.

We booked Americana Motor Inn because the Expedia reviews and photos made it look like a fun, unique place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We reserved a large two-queen room on the first floor through Expedia. At check-in, we were given a second-floor room instead. When I asked about it, the front desk employee told me that when booking online, guests do not get to choose their room or floor. I showed the Expedia listing showing first- and second-floor options, and then showed my receipt clearly confirming a first-floor room. He still said there was “absolutely nothing” he could do, other than offer us a drink, because their system supposedly does not communicate with online bookings. We checked in around 5 p.m., and there were only a few cars in the parking lot, so the lack of effort to help was frustrating. The pool was also closed due to ash in the air, even though another guest complained and it was opened a couple hours later. This place has potential with the hammocks, fire pit, pool, games, and outdoor kitchen, but the poor communication and dismissive front desk experience ruined it for us. We were really looking forward to staying here, but left disappointed. I would not recommend booking through Expedia if you expect your reservation details to be honored. We will not be back.

The property has so many great touches too. We loved relaxing in the hammocks, playing cornhole, and taking the complimentary bikes out for a ride around the area. It gave the hotel such a laid-back, community vibe. A huge shoutout to Mara, the manager! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Her kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made all the difference. If you’re looking for a unique, welcoming place to stay in Flagstaff, especially during Pride, I can’t recommend Americana Motor Hotel enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Lots of outdoor entertainment for the family around the pool area.Delicious food at the snack bar/cafe. Cool, clean, retro decor in the rooms.

I love this motel and we stay here every time that we come to flagstaff. It is really enjoyable

Such a fun motel! There's a little cafe on site and a surprisingly nice dog area, plus hammocks, picnic tables, firepits, a pool...Very convenient to area restaurants and shopping--there's even an IHop next door. Definitely recommend.
-
My only complaints are that another towel rod is needed in the bathroom or sink area and that there needs to be more light in the rooms when the drapes are closed. Too many hotels do not have sufficient lighting for this of us over 70. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The greeting when you check in is very welcoming.

Staff and amenities met my expectations.
-
Place was very cool! Clean, nice pool, friendly staff and no charge for my dog which was a plus!

The staff were wonderful and the vibe was great. Just know that everything is smaller including a full size bed for 2 of us. You may be able to get a larger room or bed though.

Wasn't expecting complimentary sparkling water upon arrival, and the lobby was even cuter than the rooms. It offered plenty of space to hang out as well as board games and even bikes that you could borrow at your leisure. Very impressed by everything offered despite not taking advantage of it all. We didn't use the amenities, but I did see the firepit on after 9 pm; it looked very nice. They have a dog run as well. Overall vibe of the place was immaculate and groovy, if I do say so myself. Would recommend it to anyone travelling through Flagstaff.

I loved everything about the property. We got a first floor room in the first building and we loved it. The decor, the disco ball, the view, the staff. It was an excellent stay. It is an older hotel but it has been re done and it was so fun and best to stay here. The bath room was huge! We loved it and recommend if you are doing Route 66 or just need a place to stay in Flagstaff. There was only one thing we didn’t like about the property and it was not the owners fault. We could hear the people staying above us, we heard their every move as they walked across the floor. Probably just because it is an older place. It’s still an awesome place to stay. We would stay again.

Very clean and quit rooms Unique Interior with 60s appeal. Friendly stuff and complementary drinks. Pool area is clean and big. We would come again. Nothing to complain about Everything was perfect.

The shower had multiple long hairs of different colors in it when we arrived, and the conditioner bottle was broken. Our ice chest also went missing from the room. The biggest issue was the noise. The rooms are not soundproof at all. I could hear the TV from the room next door late into the night, and then an alarm went off at 6:00 a.m., making it difficult to get any sleep. Overall depressing

This is a super unique property. My three year-old was enchanted with the rooms, disco balls, colorful, rugs, and an interesting bathroom. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. I was placed near the back of the property and it was super quiet plus they have a dog park. The beds were ultra comfortable to me.

The property is decorated in an era that I grew up in as a teenager and college student. It all took me back to a time when all I worried about was what I was getting for Christmas. They had more in-house activities that I had time to experience. The outdoor pool was amazing and very clean. The in-house cafe didn’t open until 8am. I was on the road by 7am. The office did not open for business until 8am, therefore I was not able to check-out and leave my key with a clerk. (I left my key in the room.)
