Americana Motor Hotel in Flagstaff near NAU/Downtown

This place brings back memories of road trips I took as a kid in the 70s: it’s so tastefully retro! From the lobby with bikes and board games and the friendliest staff (and a local beer and water bottle welcome!), to the clean, bright, adorable room…no detail was spared. The space is easy to live in and the beds were super comfortable. I was overjoyed to walk out of the room in the morning to find complementary coffee outside by the restaurant! We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the common spaces but this would be such a nice place to stay with a bigger group as there are picnic tables, a pool, hammocks, fire pits and outdoor games available. The only thing I would recommend is to get a second floor room if you are a light sleeper, as we could hear people walking above us until late in the night. Otherwise we had a perfect stay and would definitely return!

There is lots of on-site parking. Walking distance to Fat Olives pizzeria and Walgreens. No on-site gym but they have access to a local gym. I give this a strong recommendation and I would stay here again. Great value for the price.

The room was super clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable, we had a great night’s sleep! We absolutely loved the Route 66 themed room, which added a really fun touch to our stay. The staff were fantastic, and check-in was quick and easy, and would definitely recommend this hotel!

This adorable little motel brought back fond memories of family road trips when I was a kid. The room was clean and had all the things required. The 70’s decor was a delightful touch. The location is great - right on Route 66 and a straight shot to downtown. A blast of nostalgia at an affordable price makes this a great place.

We didn’t stay long enough, but I LOVED the extras that were available to the guests: bikes, fire pit, corn hole, bocci, board games, robes!! The general energy of the place was positively welcoming. The bathroom was impossibly clean!!

Everything was wonderful except that at 10:30 p.m. they were cleaning the room above us that was horrible considering I was having a hard time sleeping anyway and that woke me up
