Generously sized room with fans that were welcomed. Local parking meter didn't work, but we used thé public 24hr car park a little further away. No great problem

It was absolutely nice, 2 beds, a toilet. Staff are very nice and accomodating, the room is cleaned DAILY which was a shock for us ‘cause we thought it was cleaned every 3 days. Place is very clean and toiletries were provided throughout. The smell of the toilet can be a bit pungent- not the staff’s fault they clean it everyday! It’s just the plumbing I believe.

I spent two nights at Hotel Masaccio while traveling through Italy, and it was a great base for exploring Florence. The location is very convenient, you can simply take the T2 tram from the airport to the hotel and then it’s just a short walk from the center. 10 min roughly. Despite my flight being delayed by over three hours, the team was incredibly kind. They handled everything through seamless WhatsApp communication, making the late check-in process completely stress-free. I stayed in Room 9, which was perfect for my needs; it was clean and well-equipped with a comfy bed, a private bathroom, and effective air conditioning. The only thing to be aware of, as mentioned in other reviews, is the mosquitoes. The hotel kindly provides a plug-in repellent, but I’d recommend bringing your own spray or keeping the AC on at night to keep them away. Even being careful with the lights, I still got a couple of nasty bites! Overall, it is a lovely hotel with a helpful team. I would certainly stay at Hotel Masaccio again on my next visit to Florence.

A super room. From the moment I arrived to when I left everything was excellent, from the welcome on arrival to when we left. If I can come back, I would book here again. 10 * stars. Only stayed one night.
