A bit pricy but it happens when you're on vacation

Easy checking. Very clean. Spacious suites. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. The stairs weren’t always easy for carrying luggage.

The room was exceptional. The location was exceptional. Will stay there every time I go back.

Okay, we were really surprised by the size of the room!!! The booking.com description and photos didn't accurately described how awesome this room was. We stayed in 405. HUGE room. Two full bathrooms, two full bedrooms, a kitchenette with a round dining table and a very large terrace. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and request this same room. It was perfect for our family of 4! The access to the pool and spa for your very own private hour was so awesome and perfect to escape the city heat with the kids. It was very relaxing because the kids could be kids. We booked the pool time when we made the reservation so we got the hour we wanted. We did it from 4-5pm so then we could all clean up and chill before heading back out for dinner. The breakfast was very good with lots of delicious options. The staff was also super helpful and really pleasant. Now to the location. After spending 4 full days walking around the city I feel that this location was perfect. It is just outside the craziness of the busy squares, meaning a one minute walk down a quiet street and it's a world away from the crowds. Second, the instagram famous affogato place is just around the corner, 2 min walk AND it's close to two wine windows that are open ALL day long.. It also has a REALLY good restaurant right next door that also offers pasta making classes. Not to mention the restaurant has longer service hours and even take-out. It's Called Tre Pepi and I highly recommend it. The location of this hotel is ideal. We did a Duomo tour and visited the Galleria Dell'Accademia very early in the am so a short walk was a must. The hotel was perfectly clean and very charming. We loved the pop art on the walls and in the decor. Super fun place. There wasn't really anything that we didn't like about this hotel.

A reservation was needed to use the pool, which was only open limited hours. There was no option to order a glass of wine, as they only sell bottles.

Before I even get to the incredible food, I want to thank this hotel for hiring the most wonderful woman to be in charge of breakfast. My biggest regret of my entire trip to Italy is that I didn't get a picture with her because she was such a bright start to our day and had an incredible smile and kindness. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious- everything you would expect from Italian food. Our room exuded romance with an original fresco on the ceiling, and a view of the inner courtyard below. The pool was beautiful, and a refreshing escape from the unrelenting heat in June. Simone and the rest of the staff offered outstanding customer service. They were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. This hotel did everything to make our stay luxurious and was the first reason that I fell in love with Italy. I can't thank them enough.

The location is amazing and the staff was so great!

We liked the Spa facility

The location was is central but on a very quiet street. The reception staff are fabulous..very kind an helpful. Loved the pool and sauna, especially since it was incredibly hot outside. cleaning staff do an immaculate job. There was no hair conditioner. Our room was near an elevator and it sometimes got a little noisy.

The location was outstanding and the room large and comfortable. The street was sometimes noisy but that is the same throughout Florence

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Prepared box breakfast for our party since we had to leave before breakfast began. Large rooms and cold air conditioning. Will stay again.

Breakfast was good. Location was good. I like that I got a discount from the parking garage. Unfortunately on our first night we were not in a 2 bedroom suite that I booked. I had booked a room with a balcony, but we got a 1 bedroom unit with a living room with a pull out sofa bed that was horrible. When I mentioned it to front staff the next day that we had a terrible sleep on the pull out couch they were kind enough to move us to my originally booked room. This second room was fantastic with 2 proper bedrooms and the balcony that was pictured when I originally booked it.

Front desk staff exceptional Cell coverage spotty in room but that is not necessarily the fault of hotel

it is in a great location, close to everything. the staff was very courteous and helpful. the manager stopped by several times to greet us and provide assistance. it's a cool funky hotel, would recommend. we booked a family suite - they charged us for our children to stay in the room, which was odd. also - the wifi in 1/2 of the suite (where the kids were) didn't get any wifi reception, they had to goto the kitchen area. the pool and spa area in the basement is cool but you have to reserve ahead of time, last reservation is 7-8pm. so - we didn't get to use it at all; which is a shame.

Great location and helpful staff. The rooms were a nice size and the breakfast was great!

I loved the sauna and pool, as well as the breakfast buffet, and the location was incredible. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

This hotel has the potential to be a true five-star experience, but it falls short in a few surprisingly basic areas. On the positive side, the suites are exceptionally large and spacious. The bed is very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and a quality duvet, making for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom is large, the shower provides excellent hot water pressure, and the addition of two plush robes is a thoughtful touch. The large television offers a wide variety of channels, and the overall room size is impressive. One of the hotel’s greatest strengths is its staff. Every employee we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They were accommodating throughout our stay and always willing to address any questions or concerns that arose. Unfortunately, several small details detract from what could otherwise be an outstanding stay. After arriving from a long day of travel and settling in for a seven-night visit, we found only a single bottle of water in the room and an empty refrigerator. While the suite includes a nice kitchen and espresso machine, the coffee provided is of poor quality. There were also no napkins available in the kitchen. The hotel is housed in a beautiful palazzo, but the room décor felt oddly out of place. Our suite featured astronaut-themed wallpaper, which gave the room the feel of a child’s bedroom rather than an elegant accommodation. Guests can reserve one-hour time slots in the spa. However, it is important to note that the spa is shared with other guests during that same time period. The booking process gives the impression that the space is reserved privately, but that is not actually the case. Because the spa is relatively small, sharing it with multiple guests can make the experience feel crowded. Breakfast offers a decent variety of choices, but here again the hotel seems to cut corners. For example, the fruit salad consisted primarily of chopped apples rather than a selection of fresh seasonal fruit.

Great team. Went out of their way to be helpful. Accommodated my gluten free diet for breakfast Noisy hallways so fellow travelers who weren’t courteous during late hours could be easily heard.
