Everything! Beautiful rooms, perfect location, wonderful staff. Andrea and his team made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. The rooms are stunning. The situation could not be more amazing. I am gluten free and the breakfasts were fantastic. A nearby cafe provides the breakfast location and it felt like ‘going out’ each morning for breakfast. I highly recommend this boutique b and b. There was nothing to dislike!

Beautifully restored property in the heart of Duomo! The original frescos on the ceilings were an unexpected bonus! The property is just across the street from the Dome entrance and is close proximity to walk to everything. Our host, Andrea, was extremely helpful and stayed in constant communication with updates and information. He helped us get oriented, and made both dinner reservations and taxi arrangements back to the train station.

The location is stunning and perfectly located close to sites, restaurants, and great shopping. The room has a historic romantic vibe and was very clean. Staff was super helpful with directions and ordering a taxi. The bathroom walls are frosted glass and open ceiling challenging privacy.

The location is unreal. The door is across from the entrance of Il Duomo and right at the heart of everything. We were able to easily walk everywhere. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. There is a small fridge and armoire and kettle for tea and coffee. We were met in our rooms with biscotti and a bottle of local wine which I’m sure was wonderful but we did not try that since neither of us drink alcohol. Andrea was very hospitable and solicitous and even alerted us about a train strike the day before as we were taking the train from Venice. He also accommodated us with luggage storage even though the property may not be able to normally do that due to limited space in reception. I did notice there was a commercial luggage storage space for travelers just steps away during our stay. Absolutely recommend this property, and we would definitely stay there again! Nothing

Although the location right by the Duomo was terrific, it did tend to be a little loud and crowded during the day into the evening. It was also a little hard to find; taxis can't get close during the day so we ended up having to drag our luggage across the main piazza. Also, since it it more like an Air BnB, we got breakfast vouchers to a restaurant that was just ok. We would have prefered to have the breakfast in the building.

Close to the Duomo Host was very helpful and attentive. Made sure we had a taxi for early morning departure. We didn’t have a problem, but some people might not like the stairs

Firenze al Duomo was a perfect central base to explore. Situated next to the Duomo, you could easily walk to all the main highlights the city has to offer and it certainly made it easy to find your way home. Andrea was an awesome host. I was a solo traveler for this portion of my trip and he was a constant wealth of ideas of restaurants, where to find the wine windows and other hot spots to explore. The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location; 1 minute walk to entrance of the Duomo entrance. Staff met us when we arrived and tried to worked with us to change rooms due to heavy mildew smell in original room. The room we reserved had a very heavy mildew smell, very unpleasant. Staff did offer us a different room, which we took. The room was large and had a built-in glass enclosure bathroom. Top was open and provided no sound privacy when being used for others in the room, plus there was water damage. paint bubbling, at the base of the glass enclosure. By the evening, the smell of mildew became strong in our room. We informed the host that we would not be staying another night. He did offer us a differnt room, but we declined. Was so congested from mildew smell we needed to find other accomodations. We asked for a refund of the night we did not stay and eventually was informed we would not get one due to turning down a different room. Also did not like the breakfast arrangement. The B&B arranged for a local cafe with service starting at 0830 and concluding at 1030. By 0830, we were touring the city and cathedral. Breakfast hours are very inconvenient as the conflict with site seeing. Overall, an extremely disappointing stay.

Andrea, at front desk, was super helpful throughout our visit. We really enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff went above and beyond on every detail, including the breakfast servers. Sunshine is such a wonderful waitress, we loved her so much! Proximity to everything was a HUG bonus. The windows weren't as insulated from the noise, but we're not complaining as much since our view is literally of the Duomo itself.

Location is great and staff were friendly and helpful.Room cozy and clean. We had 2 connected rooms with a view to the Duomo. Only there is no elevator and breakfast in the next street but there is no varieties of food.

The hotel very conveniently located. As you leave you will see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. All restaurants, cafe, markets, a shopping center are nearby. You don’t need to take a taxi.

Firenze al Duomo has an excellent location - it’s close to everything major in Florence. It’s a nice boutique hotel with limited guests, and it’s perfect for solo travellers. The staff is amazing and kind - Andrea was very very helpful before and during my stay!

Andrea, the owner of the bed and breakfast met us outside of the location to show us the room. The kindness and attentiveness displayed by him made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are filled with beautiful motifs that make you realize you’re staying in a place with history. The beds are comfortable, it was a much needed change of pace considering how fast our trip has been. I can’t wait to one day return to Florence to stay here again. The room is clean, the premises is quiet, and the location is absolutely perfect. 10/10!!! Nothing - it’s a perfect place.

The location - the Duomo is literally in front when you step outside of the main door. Andrea was very helpful and made sure that he can extend help whenever it's possible. His customer service is excellent. Love the breakfast place. Everything about the stay was great.

I had a wonderful stay at Firenze al Duomo Hotel. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of Florence, just steps away from the Duomo. The hotel is beautifully decorated with elegant art on the walls and ceilings, creating a unique and authentic Florentine atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the price for this location is truly exceptional. A special thanks to Andrea at the reception. He was always professional, respectful, and extremely helpful throughout my stay. His attitude and hospitality made a noticeable difference and truly elevated my experience. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. None

Magical place to stay. Superb location in heart of the Center of Florence. Rooms are incredibly cosy. Beautifully designed rooms in a 400 years old building. It was another unique experience for us to stay at such a place… Everything!

Very nice bedroom with the ceiling decorated with original fresco painting , very good size, shower and bed, incredible view to Duomo, great location and super special staff. We checked out early, and the hotel manager kindly provided us with a brealfast the night before. The breakfast could be better.
