B&B La Terrazza sul Duomo

There’s nothing I didn’t like. You may hear some music from a store downstairs during the day, but they close at 7pm and then it’s very quiet.

There are good breakfast places nearby, so I don't recommend the B&B breakfast. Has thin walls.

Perfect location! Was a life saver to return to cool down in the crisp A/C while trying to sight see in 100 temps. Very spacious rooms. Staff so helpful and nice. They had great communication and waited for us to arrive a little late. This was our favorite stay over 10 days and 4 countries! Earlier breakfast start would be nice. 8 is a little late for big sightseeing days. Good to know they close from 12-2. Our train arrived a little before 12 so we were stressed to get there in time to check in our bags.

Location is spectacular!! Breakfast was adequate but not terrific. The room was clean but there weren't frills or luxury. Very cheap amounts of tissues in the box everyday like 3. 1 roll of toilet paper. We ended up buying some. The good was very quiet and comfortable and we had a window looking out to Duormo! It's not cheap but for us the rooftop view and our room view was worth it.

The location was fabulous and the view from the rooftop was second to none. The bed was terrible. One side of the mattress was all the way caved in compared to the other. Seemed like a cheap mattress on a platform that was very old.. unfortunate.

If you are going to Florence for the first time or a returning traveler, this is the place for you. Steps from the Duomo and no more than 10 minutes from every tourist sight, this property has it all. Incredible staff, comfortable rooms, and the best AC to beat the Italian summer heat, I have nothing but good things to say about B&B La Terrazza Sul Duomo. P.S. there is an elevator so no hauling bags up flight after flight of stairs! And they can accommodate dietary restrictions no problem! Not a single complaint. Truly incredible all around.

It was literally steps away from the Duomo and close to everything. The air conditioning worked great which was needed due to the heat wave.

Perfect location right around the Duomo. Ideal for walking to all main sites. Had a couple of mosquitos in the room but overall was good.

Great location and amazing staff!

This Beautiful B and B was the perfect place to stay in Florence. Our large (deluxe triple room) was well appointed, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We included the breakfast in our stay and we were so glad we did. Fresh croissants, breakfast delicacies and fabulous cappuccinos were the perfect way to start the day and provided fuel for our site seeing adventures. This is the PERFECT location-All the major sites were within walking distance and the Duomo was directly outside our window. The staff was kind and helpful and went the extra mile -scheduling taxis and they even mailed our postcards home. The best surprise was the rooftop terrace. Cafe tables, a view of the Duomo and magnificent sunset views. One evening we shared a bottle of wine, watched the sun go down and waited for the first evening star and were pleasantly pleased to also watch the city lights come up highlighting all the Florentine architecture- magical! If you are planning a trip to Florence this is a spectacular place to stay We did have one problem with our shower but the staff quickly went into action and the problem was solved. Also, that particular area of town has a funny sewer odor - when it rains.

The breakfast was balanced with everything you could ask for. The location was extremely convenient to get to all the major places that are a must see in Florence. Also for being in a busy location the sound proof rooms were efficient.

Loved the location and the staff was very nice. Room was comfortable enough but small. We didn’t end up getting charged but in their policy they charge you quite a bit to replace your towels. I’ve never seen that before at a hotel.
