B&B Lorena Suites & Apartments

The property doesn't own parking lots and in description it mentions like having parking, which is not true. You find parking nearby, public parking, which will cost you 15 euro per day (a bit expensive). And you find out about this parking the day before check-in (the property will message you about this).

The apartment was clean. Staff greeted us at front door. Was able to leave our luggage until check in. Easy walk to town. Breakfast was great and ready for us.

Location, clean, acces, Irina was a great housekeepeer. She gave us 2 tram tickets for free. Very nice lady.

Really nice clean, comfortable space. Walking distance to main tourist destinations (20 min walk or so), walkable restaurants all around. Staff was really nice, check in was smooth.

the lady at the breakfast was very polite. I felt like they were providing the "bare minimum", very little soap bags (definately only enough for a quick shower) no other amenities, venue had too much rules" be quiet" " do not use your adapter" , we can only assist you until certain time, because the neighbourhood was a bit scetchym and we also wanted to have a number in case of an emergency they denied to provide us, so we did not felt welcome at this stay... with this money better book a hotel with all amenities and 24-hour desk. the breakfast has to be pre-order and they give you a list: be careful, whatevery you like you get exactly 1 piece of each. Update: host is making false accusations for us. we have escalated this further to booking for investigation.

the staff was exceptionally friendly room was beautiful and clean had a hiccup with Booking.com but the staff corrected the situation well and beyond their duty to correct the situation will definitely recommend to friends and will definitely be back to visit nothing would i ask to change to make a better experience

She was responsive to the questions and comments whether they were answered rudely or not. The first night we stayed there I saw a small cockroach in the bathroom and didn’t think too much until there was a larger one located between the sheets when I lifted it up to go to bed. Not even 5 minutes after killing it, my boyfriend found 3 more in the living room. I immediately let the contact person for the B&B know, she was very rude about the situation which I have all of our texts. My family staying in the other room forgot a pair of shoes outside their door (culturally in Hawaii and other Asian countries this is appropriate) and one I was notified of bringing the shoes indoor, I asked my family to do so right away to which one of their employees placed the shoes on the rooms windowsill outside…? They asked for us to leave in the morning to have the room cleaned, I said sure once we are out for our plans that day they can clean but wanted us out at specific times and completely repacked. To which ok, we accommodated again since we haven’t even gotten out of bed yet but they wanted us out in 30 minutes. What was disrespectful was how the lady said cockroaches may have came from our suitcases or because we left food out or because we opened the windows.. did not know there was no food allowed or opening of windows but I believe that would be a pest problem if I’m seeing cockroaches even after they cleaned, there were still, maybe 5 more cockroaches when we arrived back that night, definitely not hard to find and just crawling on the floors. They said they found “none” when cleaning. Would’ve appreciated them owning up to it and providing us with a refund but I wasn’t about to spend more money on another place when this could be dealt with here. Handled horribly wrong and with disrespect, touching our personal items and with blame on us being unsanitary when it is the room that had been crawling with roaches and very disgusting. I like to believe they have bed bugs too, I got 8 bed bug bites after that night stay, and then some more. So much headache.

Breakfast was not sufficient for all guests. Quantity was quite limited.

Great quiet location

Comfortable. Ireni was the best. So pleasant and helpful. I hope you pay her well. She deserves it.

The location is convenient, with easy parking with fee and quick access to the bus station. The staff made us feel very unwelcome

The rooms were very clean. Irina was very kind and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was very comfortable and clean. The location is a little far but nothing that can not be walked.

Parking is available at an underground garage nearby (5 min walk). Plenty of spaces, for any car size. Clean and secure. 15€ per day. The Wifi is excelent (300+ mbps), with a stable connection. The room also has a small desk. The AC worked flawlessly. The fridge is full of items you can buy. There is no place to put a single bottle of water, or anything of your own.

Location and room I was appalled by all of the rules. Had to book this location last minute but when I read the reviews I was in shock of the owners horrible treatment towards other guests and her refusal to accept any of the negative feedback. Seems like staying at a concentration camp. If many people are giving you negative feedback except it.

Balcony, location, and room size. Some issues with staff stating that a door wasn’t broken when we arrived even though I reported it immediately. When I sent him a photo copy of the message, then he back tracked and said he wasn’t blaming us. Je proceeded to state that he wasn’t sure if it was the previous visitors. Hmm… Check your property!! It wasn’t a pleasant experience in that regard. Also, our kids’ room was not cleaned one of the days. Also, staff became snotty about paying taxes etc. when I gave check out times etc. Asked if I expected him to pay? I responded of course not, when will you be here for me to pay? Staff needs to work on their customer service skills and communication skills. Based on that, I’m not sure I’d return. It felt more like dealing with a landlord rental than a hotel/resort. Not worth the headache. The owners need to check rooms after each visitor leaves.
