B&B Magnifico Messere

Location was very good and property was clean - maid came in regularly. Available breakfast in kitchen was good. Host was not available to let us in the room - even though I had emailed our arrival time AND reception was to be available 11-5pm on our Sunday arrival. Had to call him 3 times before answer and his text didn’t arrive until I called a second time. Air conditioner leaked - and had leaked water before our arrival. Floor had lifted a little where water was pooling.

Nice bed, perfect location, and very friendly staff. Great kitchen, always well stocked with coffee ☕️ (espresso), butter, sugar, cookies, bottled water, yogurt, cereal and milk. I especially appreciated the small table with the room number. I highly recommend this place. The shower water is a little week..

Everything overcome my expectations. The localization, cleaness and the support when required.

Imagine waking up to the bells of the Santa Maria di Fiore church bells.. and opening up the windows and gazing at the magnificent Duomo. This is how your stay will be like. This is a classic BnB, were you have everything ready for breakfast at the morning, so you can start walking the city right away. The place is right at the heart of the city, in a super safe area, walking distance to absolutely everything. Staff and the owner were super lovely, even when they spoke little English, they made their best to accommodate and help us. The room is larger than you'd expect, a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom, high ceilings and a window that opens to the most lovely city in Italy.

Fantastic location. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, comparable to sleeping on a pullout sofa. Additionally, we felt the room’s locking system posed a safety concern. With only one key provided, if my partner had left early and locked the door behind him, I could have been stuck inside with no way to exit. Updating the locks to a more modern style would make the space feel much safer and more guest friendly.

Location was perfect, host was flexible. Very clean and very spatious room. Good working vintage elevator. We could see bruneleschis dome from room which was amazing Breakfast is served in shared kitchen which was unusual for us. It could use more variety but all in all exceptional experience

The physical location was amazing for access to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The noise from traffic and crowds on the street doesn't allow for a restful stay. The shower was so small you couldn't turn around without hitting the water control. The ground floor entrance smells terrible. It isn't really a "B&B". There's a kitchen/lobby with stocked fridge, coffee maker, and snacks.

Really in the center. The bathroom was a bit small. And the communication about the parking with the hotel was not the best. Till really last time we didn't know even if i wrote then a couple of times. A bit more information about it in advance would have helped

Proximity to the Duomo was great. The room had a great bathroom and breakfast set up. Bed was a little uncomfortable.

Perfect location. Nice room with wonderful view. Friendly staff. Breakfast is not very quality but it is ok. The room was a bit cold. It was no heating in november.
