Excellent stay for a conference trip. The room is extremely nice and more luxury than I expected. Super clean and modern. Staff is super friendly and helpful - it made me feel very personal! Breakfast is limited but sufficient. Internet is fast. It locates in a quiet street, a bit off from other must see please (except for the Academia), but it’s 15-20 walks to the Duomo and train station - to me, thats not a problem to walk, except that I was there during the worst heat wave in Europe (33-36 Celsius and 92-95 Fahrenheit every day). Highly recommend for a single or couples traveller who like to stay out from the tourist area but still walkable enough to get there. Also, it’s perfect for business travelers! 5 stars ⭐️. Breakfast is limited but sufficient. Some foods (e.g., bread) were out before the breakfast time ends one day, but it’s not a big deal for me.

Unfortunately, despite a pleasant interaction with the female staff at this hotel who let me check in late my first night, upon paying the city taxes the next morning, I had a very unpleasant experience with the hotel owner. He said to me, "you are very beautiful, and you're staying in the room by yourself? Where is your boyfriend? Is he busy?" After breakfast, I went back to my room to nap because I was tired after a long day of travel the previous day. I put out the classic "do not disturb" sign on my door, and changed the digital setting to "do not disturb" (see picture), which is also visible outside of the room. The hotel owner proceeded to knock on my door and ask if my room needed cleaning, to which I answered, "no." He then proceeded to ask, "are you sure?" To which I respond to again with, "no." The do not disturb sign was clear as day outside my room door. This man was choosing to mess with me and make me feel uncomfortable. He is in his 60s/70s- he knew what he was doing. I felt so unsafe that I checked out a day early and booked another place to stay. I have traveled to many places in Italy solo as a woman and have never been treated this way at a hotel. What an unprofessional way to run an establishment. It is absolutely disgusting to prey on guests. For that reason, I'd warn solo woman travelers to please stay away from this hotel!!

It would be nice to have a small shampoo/conditioner provided in addition to hand soap. We had no major issues though, this was a nice stay.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ? Nothing actually, everything was perfect

The staff was really friendly and accommodating. For two days, we had to leave the hotel early (before breakfast time), and the staff provided us a breakfast spread in the room so we don't miss the meal. The room was nicely decorated and clean and comfortable. There was cleaning provided every day and the housekeeping staff even left us warm towels. The location is a 10/10. Very central and close to the public transport stops.

When you book Flor in Florence it comes up as a hotel and for me this is not a hotel! I wouldn’t recommend this place or go back. No room service, breakfast is a joke the cappuccino the guy make was disgusting. Also no water in the room! I paid over $700.00 Canadian dollars for this place not worth it. Don’t waste your money! There is no concierge, you don’t get slippers or bath robes and the pillows are terrible. The shower is small and it’s very uncomfortable to shower. The guy almost cried when I asked for extra towels and the tv is a joke any smaller! To top it off the guy forgot to return our passports and we had to wait until the next day to get them back because he was no where to be found so don’t believe that there is a concierge. None of the numbers provided worked! I found a man who had the owners number total joke. Waste of money!! The guy who works there is a liar because another guy who came in late overnight couldn’t get in and the Man said he was there till 9 o’clock waiting around for him, which is a lie because we were looking for him and he was already gone when he didn’t return our passports. Also no luggage racks in the room and 2 hangers only very 1 star! You cannot even leave your luggage anywhere at the places once you check out if you have hours to waste it’s bullshit! When I asked the guy about leaving the bags he said you can leave them in storage locker at the rain stain total bullshit! Never ever again a real shit hole! I felt like I was staying at a relative’s places ridiculous! First and last time I book a B and B. It doesn’t compare to a 4 or 5 star hotel and all its amenities but the Flor compares itself to one. Way off! Never ever again!

Services and friendliness. Beautiful, clean and the central location

Everything was wonderful -- beautifully decorated and so very comfortable, fantastic location close to everything we wanted to see in Florence, but in a quiet area away from the crowds. We loved it and would absolutely return!

Beautiful property N/A

The breakfast had a variety of choices and the room had a wonderful view to enjoy at the same time. The location was right off the tram line so it was walkable as well as close to public transport for getting to old town center.

We truly appreciated the refined and spacious interior with its attention to detail. The room boasts new furniture, air conditioning, a TV, and a bathroom stocked with all necessary amenities. The apartment was impeccably clean, and we particularly enjoyed the good quality mattresses on the bed. The property's location is also perfect, situated close to the city center – literally a 10-minute walk to the Duomo. The staff members were helpful and polite. In the morning, a light but lovely breakfast is available in the living room for an extra fee. It would be a nice addition if the TV offered screen mirroring or casting capabilities from a phone.

Breakfast could have been better, with more quality and local products. Everything was industrialized food, and considering you are in Tuscany (and I'm from there), I know you can have better offers without going fancy. But it is a minor aspect, and the overall stay was enjoyable.
