Our stay was great. Viola was a great host. The place is very comfortable and clean and we found everything we needed. Very well located, we just walk to all our planned visits. This was my favorite hotel in Italy. You truly feel at home here. The complimentary treats and the beautiful garden are wonderful. Viola(owner) is incredibly helpful and supports you with every detail. Her passion for her work is remarkable and makes the whole experience even more special. I had read in other reviews that some guests were bothered by the tram noise. Yes, you can hear it faintly, but it is really not an issue. After all, it is difficult to find a completely noise-free place in Italy. And what about the wonderful birdsong coming from the beautiful back garden?just great

We loved everything, short walk to the Station and just a little further to the centre, perfect spot. Viola greeted us on arrival and is a delight, friendly and very welcoming. Nothing

It's close to the train station in walking distance of 10 minutes. Big space with a living room. There's a kitchen with coffee machine and tea pot, some fruits, cookies, milk, etc. The host can only be there during the afternoon for check-in. We waited in a restaurant next door for a while to allow us leaving our luggage before check-in. The room Windows are to the street with railways. So the noise can be a problem until midnight then starts again next mooring at 6am… We later got WhatsApp connection and the communication became easier…

Exceptional

The rooms are superb! Viola (owner) and Irene were absolutely wonderful hosts and so accommodating and helpful. The shared kitchen are had lots of provisions available for guests to use without charge. The location is ideal for the main rail station. We loved our room (Jonny and June) and it gave us the most relaxing stay so far in our Interrail adventure. Highly recommended. Nothing - perfect for our needs.

Viola and the entire staff are extremely kind and accommodating. They communicate every step of your stay. The property is comfortable and so easy to get to from the train station. Its quiet and peaceful. Perfect for short stays to see Florence or if you are planning longer trips. You get full access to the kitchen and beautiful garden. It was a great stay. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Florence. The rain shower needed a small fix in my room but the hand held shower attachment worked great with lots of water pressure.
