Hotel Firenze 2000

Close to many things but not worth the value it’s very old, not as clean and I would have liked (hair in sinks, etc), breakfast was decent and stef was very helpful and nice, but just keep in mind it’s old and they’re definitely charging for being close to Ippodromo del Visarno. Hair in bathroom sink upon arrival and for price it was a lot older, single room was featured differently in pictures as well.

No possibility to refill my water bottle with the water from the breakfast room.

Nothing The receptionist from albania, not the Indian one, was rude , with attitude. He charged us shot loads of money to keep our motorcycles in the front area. The building is not as its shown in the pictures, mosquitoes in the room , really old AC not cleaned. We got sick after using it for few hours. No windows, mold and the breakfast was garbage. Bread from last week and bad cheese and ham . Also electricity plugs were broken and with exposed wires. Dangerous

Spacious, clean, helpful staf. The lobby or waiting room is not comfortable.

Nice surprise with the delicious breakfast! Staff was very helpful and allowed us to leave the luggage at reception after check-out as we had an evening flight. Price is unreasonably high in peak season, considering the conditions: small room, no widows and faulty air conditioning. Would only book again In low season when price is more accurate for what the hotel offers.

They were very helpful with buses, restaurants and any questions we had. They were very professional and efficient and kind. Nothing.

The location is a bit far out from the main attractions, general location is a bit tired.

Staff is outstanding... Needs a bit of updating but I know they are in the process....

We liked that we could check in early and the size of the room that could accommodate all of us and the air conditioning. It was also within our budget.The staff both reception and cleaning were really friendly. There were old style plugs that didn't fit any of our adapters but when we spoke to reception they loaned us one. Breakfast was a bit basic and odd...only hot items were sliced hot dogs.

If there was a small refrigerator in the rooms, it would be nice.

It is fantastic value for money for a family with a car. You get a great location very close to the gorgeous medieval town centre of Firenze. The possibility to park is excellent but I would strongly urge you to book parking in advance as there are limited spaces. It was a great relief to park right next to the reception on a hot day after a long drive. The room was very spacious, and had adequate airconditioning for a day with a heatwave. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was decent. Generally you had a sense of spaciousness, no clutter from open suitcases etc. The room had limited light as it is somewhat lower than ground. The windows were a bit high up. It didn't bother us at all, as (a) we were not aiming to live in the hotel but go out immediately. (b) a lot of light in boiling heat can be a disadvantage and you'll end up closing the shades anyway. This was the only tradeoff for the fatastic VFM of this place. Another small improvement would be to add at least one schuko socket in the main room. The only schuko was in the bathroom that was a bit awkward.

The staff, despite the hotel not having good facilities, behaved very well and was very friendly at all times. The breakfast was fine, but the room, facilities, and overall comfort were so poor that we assumed it would be horrible, but it wasn't. The breakfast was fine, not impressive, but better than expected. The location isn't central, but you can walk to the center. It's OK. The door to our room, which was in a basement, was in a place where people gathered to smoke or talk during the night, which became very smelling and annoying. The room did not have the basic elements that a hotel room should have. The bathroom had nowhere to hang the towel or the toilet paper. The shower had nowhere to put the soap. Things were on the floor. The hygiene was not terrible but it was not pleasant. The beds were not good. the room was cold and the heating was very noisy.

Convenient location. Decent breakfast. Good price. We managed to leave our luggage for the afternoon after we checked out. They lended us cutlery…very kind and not pretentious. We could park the car on the street just by paying on the street parking machine Nothing

Breakfast was excellent, everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room lacked some furniture and lighting. Some of the furniture was old and the room could use a coat of paint.

Kristina, the breakfast waitress was super helpful. It was quiet and clean. Great place if you don't want to spend more money on accomodation Our room was very dark. Breakfast could have a nicer selection
