Rodeway Inn Florence - Cincinnati South

Our room was very dirty. We could not even use our shower because there was mold in it. The sheets on the bed had not been cleaned, so it was very disgusting seeing stains and hair in our sheets. We even changed rooms, but the problem was the same at the second room. Another problem, which is minor compared to the dirty room, was the TV did not work. We will never stay at this hotel again.

This place is horrific! Dirty, funky, and should be closed honestly. Breakfast is cereal (in little bowls) and toast btw. Dont do it!

I was met with a roach in the bathroom . And the pool was down.

My room was terrible. Roaches and other insects were running all thru the room. I have video for proof. This place is not a good place to stay. I didn’t get any sleep, I cancelled the rest of my stay due to the filth.

First approach, I thought the place was abandoned and wrapped with police tape. It was caution tape and there were old mattresses stacked against the windows of a sunroom where I think is the “heated pool” they advertise on the sign but I didn’t venture to find. Random stains on the hallway carpets. The first room had holes in the walls, the molding was peeling from the wall and flailing (tripping hazard) into the walkway. Several appliances plugged into an outlet adapter that turned a 2-plug into 6. Honestly worried about a fire. The flooring was cracked and missing chunks. We left the room about 30 minutes after arrival. Came back several hours later to the room flooded from the toilet. Front desk asked ME what happened, like I would know. I told them it sure wasn’t toilet paper bc there wasn’t any in our room. Moved rooms. It’s slightly better, but the refrigerator won’t stay closed and I can feel lumps under the carpet where they threw it down over a busted floor. The “continental breakfast” was literally slices of bread you could toast or a couple options of dry cereal (went to Bob Evan’s across the street). The parking lot is full of potholes and overgrown with trees. I saw young children doing cleaning and laundry. They had giant appliances boxes stacked in the lobby. And when I asked at checkout if their “sorry” was going to be accompanied by financial restitution, the guy said he had to ask his manager. They hadn’t already addressed it.

Roofing was leaking ,roaches and faucet was Brocken.,staffs were doing their best but it’s not enough.

DISGUSTING!! ROACHES!! poorly spackled bathtub, holes in the wall, the room looked well outdated and was afraid to touch anything or use the facilities. luckily i only stayed one night but only because I had no choice. I was afraid to even try the free breakfast in the morning. The entire place looked like you rented by the hour. It smelled of cigarette smoke. Avoid this place at all costs, you really do get what you pay for

I wish the pool was working

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!! The first room they gave us had a generator and orange extension cords plugged in everywhere. The 2nd room had a lamp shade that a previous guest had drawn on. The pink spot on the carpet was questionable. No baseboards in the bathroom. The tub was dingy. There is a sign that says heated pool. There is no water in the pool and the area is used for storage. The back security door didn't lock. If you didn't pull or slam your room door shut, anyone could get in. We left a day early and was not able to get a refund even though we pointed out our concerns. We didn't even want to eat the breakfast after seeing how the place was maintained. If we could give negative stars, we would.

This is an extended stay property, people live at this hotel. The place is dirty, my first room had a ceiling leak onto the furniture and there was nowhere to hang clothing. I was transferred to another room where I was greeted with a live cockroaches and several dead ones. The bathtub was dirty, peeling and had hair in it, there was dried urine around the toilet and tape holding an outlet up to the wall while another was just hanging out of the wall. The refrigerator was very unsanitary The laundry facilities were not clean with run down washers, the pool area was used as storage and the actual pool was empty. People hanging around the front entrance all hours of the night I was fearful of my vehicle being unlawfully entered and again PEOPLE LIVE HERE as if it was an apartment building I saw ankle monitors, DOGS, crackheads and critters!!! I checked out IMMEDIATELY!!! Please do not book here they should not even be offering rooms. IT WAS HORRIBLE

I had a Very bad experience Room wasnt clean I had to keep asking them to clean it. No plates over outlet toilet wouldn't flush. Everything was old and outdated

The best part about this hotel was the front check-in. The lady that assisted us was super kind. As far as the rooms themselves, they were discussing. There were holes in the ceilings, it was definitely in need of maintenance. The stay was peaceful and very quiet. The hotel definitely needs taken care of. It's falling apart.

Toilet is leaking, bath tube is not drained water, microwave door is not functioning properly ( door).

The room I stayed in was pretty atrocious. It is in need of major updating. It’s just falling apart. Not just old but actually crumbling and unfinished. I’m not super picky but this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. My bathroom was also super dirty and towels were stained. Luckily I only stayed one night and I definitely won’t be back.

They said that the pool was closed. They was done away with the pool. The trimming on the walls was missing. There was holes in the wall. The lamp was wrote and colored all over the floor was nasty and sticky. The carpet was horrible. The bathtub look like it’s never been cleaned. The maintenance in general of the whole property was not good when you think of crackhead motel that’s that place I would not recommend anyone staying there. It needs to be shut down.

Very dirty, sheets were dirty, floors dirty, bathroom disgusting… worst hotel I’ve ever experienced

They had all the plugs on one side of the room and they had bugs.
