the room needed some repairs and it wasn’t very accessible (it has an elevator but you still need to take stairs to get to the room.

Lovely view of the valley and friendly staff. Our room - 404 - looked nothing like the photo on booking. Turns out the photo was a renovated room; we had no view from our bed of the mountains, everything was gray or beige, and the only chairs were uncomfortable, stained dining chairs. And it was cold in the room the fist afternoon Soooo disappointing. It felt like we were in a motel from the 1960s, not a mountain resort. We asked about heat, which got better, thank you, and said we were disappointed not to get the renovated room as pictured. No options for changing rooms were offered.

not satisfied Location

Great location centrally in Font Romeu - around the corner from bus stop to Perpignan, wonderful bakery next door and upstairs. With a wonderful view of the mountains. Helpful staff kept our suitcases whilst we walked in the Pyrenees.

This hotel could concern as a scam. I don’t like writing negative review but this one is really bad. - The room is dark and outdated. - Lack of parking spot in front of hotel. I came in the less-busy season and parking spots have already been quite tight. - no wifi signal in the room. Say bye bye to internet during your stay. - the breakfast is ultra expansive: 40 euro per person (crazy right) for machine coffee and bread that you can find anywhere else. They didn’t state anywhere in the introduction. - the view is nice. But you can find the same in other alternatives in the region. Overall not really pleasant experience, I don’t recommend anyone to come.

Personnel charmant, hôtel cocooning on s y sent bien, excellente restauration.

Wonderfully atmospheric classic mountain hotel, right in the centre of town with stunning views over the valley below, complete with open fire in the open-plan bar/lounge and adjacent dining area. Chef-Proprietor Albert is a brilliant host and his staff are excellent aides-de-camp. Extremely reasonably priced - a small but perfectly comfortable room and really excellent dinner and breakfast - especially the Spanish bacon!! We liked everything about the whole stay - it is the perfect base for a few days skiing, and must be equally as inviting in the summer.

Needs renovation. Toilets are really disgusting. The hall is nice with a restaurant and a 360º chimney.

We had a frustrating experience with Hotel X. Three days before our stay, we were informed that the hotel was overbooked. Instead of honouring our original booking, the owners offered to move us to a "nearby" hotel. However, this alternative was not convenient—it was far from the original location and required a substantial drive to reach the ski lifts. The substitute hotel looked completely deserted and reception was unattended. Definitely not suitable for a comfortable weekend stay. We had to find a last-minute booking elsewhere, which was inconvenient, especially since we had made our reservation months in advance. While we did receive a full refund, the inconvenience caused by overbooking made for a disappointing experience.

Superb
-
Wood fire ambiance was very nice as well as staff’s smiles and motivation to serve besides dinner was so tasty not to forget about mountain’s amazing view and Of course the warmth of the place suitable for our baby playing and sitting Add to that the addition of baby bed after request Thanks for all that Over priced for the quality of breakfast, double doors for rooms wasn’t practical, not very strong wall noise cancellation, parking not included although if you were lucky there is one just in front, lights could be stronger in the room, and bathrooms are tiny and without shower jets for cleanliness, Had to ask for soap and shower refill which should be already

The staff were amazing as was the breakfast Loved the restaurant and the evening vibe. Great location and Mountain View’s Parking situation difficult Room small and basic
-
Close to ilo bus stop and about 10mins walk to Telecabin. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Dates rooms but comfortable. Nice mountain view from room. Need to be part of a meal plan - breakfast and dinner when staying in Dec and Jan. Was not stated on booking.com when making reservation. Was told on arrival - average €40 per person per day.

The hotel had a nice mountain vibe. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The shower was very nice - hot water, good pressure and didn’t make the whole bathroom wet. The dinner and breakfast were both very good. For the price, the room was very small and didn’t have a work surface or even a chair. The plush carpet was very worn and stained. The tiny bathroom sink wasn’t useful for anything other than washing your fingertips. The wifi only worked in the bar, not in the room or even in the restaurant.
-
Location Had to pay to park The swimming pool was not attractive. The pool cleaning machine was active mid afternoon Breakfast was not good value Room was very small and shower with curtain was tiny and unpleasant
-
Location, although we didn't use the bar area, it looked beautiful and comfortable with lovely views High price for a small room, paper cups, bathroom door not shutting properly and quite worn.

The location is perfect and the personal is very kind and attentive. The view is particularly impressive. This hotel could be a super place, ideally located in the heart of Font Romeu. The cleanliness was totally insufficient even for a hotel without stars but even more so for a hotel which claims to be a three star. Thus the price is expensive and we should not come back to this hotel despite the location.
