Le Chene Hotel

Very good breakfasts, fantastic tapas dinners on Saturday nights, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, well located on multiple bus lines and a short walk to many attractions

The property was clean and quaint with an amazing breakfast that was included in the price. Staff were friendly and accommodating when asked if we could park our car for a few hours after check out. Boxed dinners were available for an additional cost and there was a nice garden area with comfortable chairs. Nothing

Bedding was comfortable. They gave us a triple room which was an excellent option. Rooms were clean had basic amneties. has excellent bus services and lovely walking pathway. the staff at reception were not helpful . They did not give us any infomration about the local attractions. We were not sure whether we were slightly discriminated based on the fact that we were brown.

The breakfasts at Le Chene are excellent. There is plenty of choice of both hot and cold food. My departure was before breakfast, so the hotel gave me a packed continental breakfast to take with me. The staff were all very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was easy to operate. There is parking on site, but if you don't have a car, the bus stop is close by with regular buses in to St Peter Port. There is also the opportunity to hire a bike if you wish. There is a sauna in the garden that I would have liked to use, but as a solo traveller, I felt the additional charge of £10 was a little bit excessive, especially at a time in the season when the outdoor pool is not open.

Clean and comfortable. Heating had been turned off but an electric heater was provided. Daily housekeeping which was a surprise for a b&b and very nice. Breakfast and breakfast service was fabulous, can’t fault it and delicious. Easy parking, nice pub 5 minutes walk away. My room was at the top of the building where I think the water tank(s) must have been as very noisy when neighbouring rooms were showering, especially one morning before 6am which I assume was someone going for a flight. It’s an old building so to be expected.

Niek, the owner, could not have been more gracious. The room and bedlinen were spotless.

Even before I arrived I received a lovely welcoming message from the owners of the hotel. The breakfast was superb, I had eggs and salmon and a freshly cooked croissant. There were plenty of other choices for breakfast. The hosts were amazing and it’s a place I would definitely recommend. Nothing

Hotel was brilliant Large room with ensuite Nothing was too much trouble Food excellent breakfast Smoked Salmon , scrambled egg Cereal, fresh fruit , tea coffee Plenty of parking We slept a lot better than we do at home . Comfortable beds ? Ground floor as we are disabled going upstairs & downstairs are hard for me . Thank you for a wonderful Stay Ank & Niek . 5 ? ? ? ? ?. Everything was wonderful
