The hotel is set in a lovely area. It was quiet with coastal paths nearby to explore. All the staff were courteous and always helpful. Nothing to dislike really. Maybe bike hire would have been good. Nonetheless the local bus stopped nearby.

Good choice for breakfast, continental and cooked. Really friendly staff always eager to help. Good location, in easy reach of all amenities and sights but nice and quiet for relaxing. Great shower!!

Exceptional Stay. Regrettably we were given a smaller bed on arrival (a double but we asked through communication with hotel to upgrade) however this was very quickly sorted on arrival and we were given a very lovely room with king-size. Staff were ALL incredibly accommodating and couldn't do enough. Food was excellent. Dinner was so good we cancelled an alternative booking, to eat elsewhere the second night, to eat at hotel again. Just outstanding food. Breakfast was also 5*. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel is in a quiet area, near to a beach. The staff were amazing, very welcoming. There is plenty of parking on site. I prefer a continental breakfast rather than cooked and there was limited choice, but it was adequate and very fresh. If you want a fridge in your room, you need to ask for one and they bring it the next day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Dinner was great especially the March special. Breakfast was very tasty, good to have a choice of hot food cooked to order Slight scent in the rooms like incense or rose which I wasn't keen on

Staff can make or break any business, and in hospitality, more so. From the moment we arrive the staff were fantastic. They couldn’t do enough. The food was excellent too, great choice, especially the fish menu and good value for money. This explains why the locals eat here en mass. Lovely garden and pool area. Rooms and bathrooms are a little dated but well appointed and comfortable.

Fabulous hotel! We had a wonderful stay - from the welcome on arrival and throughout our week’s stay, all of the staff were so thoughtful, attentive and friendly. The food is excellent, the hotel decor very tasteful and chic, our room very spacious and immaculate. I thoroughly recommend La Barbarie to anyone wanting a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a gorgeous rural setting.
