No Complaints! 😊

The incidental payment per day of $150 collected upfront for 6 days was ridiculous at check in on top of the resort fees.

Great location and condition of the hotel for being an older hotel. Views of the beach from the wrap around deck, hotel room, and Spa were amazing! The rooms were modern and spacious. Spa staff was great and massages were very good. I would definitely stay here when in Fort Lauderdale again.

This was my second time staying and won’t be our last!! Really big shout out to John and Jessie from the beach team! They are amazing workers - so friendly and so accommodating. Frank from the beach crew was awesome too!! Room was so spacious and comfy!! Bar staff were great!! Keep up the good work!!

We celebrated our 20 years of marriage at the Pelican. Not the first time we were ever there. Many times before. We had a flawless experience once again

Absolutely will be coming back soon! The amenities and beach access were amazing
-
The most wonderful staff! They did everything but carry me around on their shoulders. I love this place. Right on the beach. Don’t worry about finding John to get food and drinks on the beach. He will be right there every time you look around.

The entire water staff in particular actually. Housekeeping greet with a smile eveytime. Front desk finds a solution to any question efficiently and are extremely courteous Bell captains and valet Kudos always ready to help!

More expensive than it is worth .there was a lot of hidden fees. And some of the pool staff were rude.

Loved the room and the lazy river

The best part of the hotel is the customer service. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. However, I had to change rooms twice because the rooms I was initially assigned did not match the one I had reserved. One of the rooms was located directly across from the laundry facilities, and the vibration and noise could be felt inside the room. The pool and lazy river are both quite small, and there is very little for children to do. The rooms are basic, with a very small refrigerator and no microwave or kitchenette. Food and drinks on the property are expensive. Guests should also be aware of the extra fees, including valet parking of up to $70 per night and a daily resort fee of about $65. Overall, this hotel is best suited for a short stay of two or three days if your goal is to relax by the ocean. Families looking for extensive amenities and activities may find it somewhat limited.

Right on the beach!!! John, our beach waiter was the BEST!!! Pool was great with the lazy river, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. We had lunch on the patio overlooking the ocean and had dinner at Ocean2000 on the patio. Food was amazing. We had an ocean front suite which was spacious and comfortable....we would stay here again.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the exceptional beach service provided by John. His energy, positivity, and dedication to ensuring guests stay comfortable, hydrated, and entertained were truly unmatched. In fact, John’s outstanding service would be a major reason for us to choose the Pelican Grand again rather than trying a different hotel on our next visit.

Great room comfort, service, and food! I loved the fact that the beach is beautiful and more exclusive to the people staying at the resort.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the Front Desk Manager Hannah Bogart. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making my stay enjoyable. Her attention to detail, prompt assistance, and positive attitude made a lasting impression. Any questions or requests were handled efficiently and with a smile, making me feel valued as guest. It is clear that she takes great pride in her work and set a high standard for customer service. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience. Your professionalism and hospitality are truly an asset to the hotel. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel because of the exceptional service I received from Hannah Bogart. See you soon Hannah.

John, the man working the beach was phenomenal! We have now stayed at this resort 4 times and the last two times he was very quick. He never let us go hungry or without water. A few years ago, I was assisted by another gentleman named Adam. He was also just as friendly. The woman working the pool area was friendly, but when we placed our order, it ended up not coming out and the food was cold and the salad was hot when it did. She tried her best to serve everyone, but we constantly kept getting passed up or neglected. I didn’t realize how important drinking water was at the pool/ beach was. Because we stayed at the pool this last time, the wind was terrible and my throat was so inflamed from having a hard time getting water. We were kept up the last night/ morning around 2-4am June 19th. I’m assuming workers were moving furniture and moving carts talking loudly. They definitely kept us up for hours.

Great two restaurants barefoot and Tidal , if you do not have kids be aware, this is a very kid friendly environment, tons of kids playing around so the restaurants can be abit loud .
