It wasn’t dirty other than than the stains on the hallway carpets The management was horrible. They went out of their way to be inhospitable. Shamefully rude. The manager didn’t greet us or even acknowledge that we were standing in front of the front desk waiting to check in. He was absolutely incompetent or just trying desperately to be rude. The girl right next to him was ignorant and rude as well. Two days into our prepaid stay we told them we were leaving because they were ruining our vacation and the manager shrugged his shoulders. We have been visiting Forte for 30 years and have never seen such abhorrent behavior. It was terrible

The location and the restaurant waitress They don’t stick to what they mentioned about their property. They did mention pets are not allowed and I found them front of me. Room cleaning is below standard. Don’t expect the receptionist in the morning shift to be helpful at all. No welcoming upon your arrival , no explanation for breakfast time or closest beach or recommended restaurant or anything , no tour in the hotel, no support, no map as they used to do! except the old man in the night shift he is really good . The whole experience in this hotel is go and explore everything yourself. I visited this hotel back in 2018 and the difference is just massive. Will not be back.

The breakfast was great. The bikes on site were useful. The porter was very nice. We were very unhappy with the fact that the hotel was incorrectly advertised on Booking.com. There were 5 of us staying and the room plan said it had 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed in. That was a lie, the living room was one of the bedrooms and the sofa bed was touching the other bed. We would not have booked if we had known. Staff didn't offer any solution or compensation to our issue.

Breakfast was amazing! Ease of hiring bikes from the hotel was super handy So close to walk to the beach or shops but was also so much fun to use the bikes. Beds were the most comfortable we have had in Europe yet. Nice to get a good night sleep. All around great place to stay would reccomend and stay again. Forte dei marmi is beautiful!

Cozy hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Hospitable and customer-oriented staff. Delicious varied breakfast. We found a bicycle for the child and gave it to the whole family (3 people) for free. -

The rooms were very clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff (which included the owner and his lovely son) were helpful, warm and just wonderful. It was perfect.
