I am generally very dependent and happy with booking's reviews and ratings. This hotel truly was a disappointment. 1. While advertised as having beach access, there was an extra 100€ per day to be able to use it, which was not clear in the hotel description. When asked in the hotel or through the app every time we got a different price. When asked for help with booking a public or cheaper beach the answer was they don’t exist and we would not get anything cheaper, which was not true, and which we did on our own. They reception staff was exceptionally unhelpful in trying to help us. 2. We had a similar experience with trying to book transportation, both during our stay and to the airport. We had originally asked how much a taxi to the airport would be, months in advance. They said 130€. When we asked in the hotel we were told around 120€ but to come back to book one two days in advance because we would not be able to sooner. When we asked two days in advance we were told 170€ because we were asking too late and close to the date. This has been a very unfortunate vacation, and we're truly disappointed. I don't usually leave feedback, but this experience fell well below our expectations and made the trip far less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Location, the ladies at reception were also very nice and helpful. Hotel is old and needs maintenance, electric points not working or even broken. Waiters also mumbling.

Was a good location to the centre of Massa. Dated furniture and bedding.

Nice location, walking distance to the city center. Cute design, large terrace with a beautiful view over the mountains. The staff si friendly, helpful and smiling. Poor breakfast, the bed is very hard and the pillow is horrible. The parking is not enough for all guests so if you come late you cannot park anymore in the garden.
