Ambassador Hotel

O estacionamento é HORRÍVEL, sujo, desorganizado e de difícil acesso. À noite que chegamos quando tentamos entrar no quarto pela segunda vez, a chave não funcionava, tiveram que chamar um serralheiro e ficamos quase até 1da manhã aguardando para entrar. Os quartos são limpos porém tudo é antigo, não dá para mudar a temperatura do ar que é fixa em 25 graus, super quente. A piscina estava suja e a área descuidada.

Inside, the hotel looks like a good Soviet hotel from the 1960s, although I would guess it was actually built in the 1980s. For its time, the room layout is perfect. Nowadays, it could use a couple of power outlets near the bed, but that’s a minor issue. The room is spacious and worth the price. It has everything needed for comfort: a wardrobe, space for luggage, refrigerator, mirror, table with chairs, and bedside lamps. The breakfast is modest, with only two hot options: scrambled eggs and sausages. It would be nice to add more egg options, such as boiled eggs or fried eggs and so on. The cost savings on food would likely remain the same, while guests would at least have some variety. For a couple of hours during the day, it can be noisy because of the children’s sports playground under the windows. The mirror in the bathroom is so worn out that it is almost impossible to see your reflection. The painting above the bed does not reflect the location or atmosphere of the place.

Room is basic, but the breakfast is great!

Wifi was horrible. The pool is disappointing. Breakfast was good. The staff were very nice.

The location is very good, very close to the central bus station. In the neighborhood there are a lot of restaurants and shops. The staff of the hotel is very helpful and the breakfast is very good. Overall a very good hotel, bite old but they do their best to give you the best service they can. nothing

Owner was very good, answered all the info I needed in English and explained everything in detail. Breakfast was also good with cooked food and owner personally overseeing everything. Nothing.

The Bus station to the Waterfalls is very close, and there is a great bakery just over the street. The location ist very central and they have a small pool in the backyard ideal for refreshing yourself from a hot day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Big bonus! And they clean rooms daily if you don't say you do not need cleaning. We stayed longer than expected due to being sick and we were able to extend our stay spontaneously every morning, which helped a lot in that situation. The AC in our room was a lifesaver! Everything was perfect, except for the WiFi connection in our room (4th floor). In the evening it was rather poor at times, especially when sitting comfortably on the bed. But you could go towards the door/corridor for a better connection.

Our host Miguel couldn't have been more helpful. Spoke fluent English. He let us know that the bus stop to the Falls, both Brazilian & Argentinian sides, was just across the road from the hotel, this saved us a fortune v's paying for one of the tours, most tours didn't include the entry fee to the National Park. The staff sorted out us getting our laundry done, and anything we asked, including borrowing a needle & using some thread. Breakfast was great, continental, help yourself. Location is central. We were so pleased we found this hotel. Thank you guys so much. No complaints at all!

We stayed here when we got to Foz and decided to come back after spending a night across the border in Argentina. We loved the friendly staff and the breakfast lady who would smile at us each morning. We felt right at home. It also so happened that I fell in love on this trip so it's a 10/10 from me ?

Location, friendly staff, space in the room, breakfest The airconditioner did nosies and the staff didnt know english so even they were friendly abd tried to help, it was hard to talk with them.

Very friendly personnel, nice breakfast, everything needed to stay comfortably. We were about to arrive late, so late check in was also relevant to us. Old furniture, the rooms looked better on the photos. A bit noisy air conditioner, some of the plugs didn't work.

Comfortable, clean room with great staff. Located in city downtown. Internet did not work in my room. I needed to go down stairs to get connected to a different network.
