Location is great - very close to the local & international bus terminal & some excellent local restaurants, pharmacy & mini-markets. HOWEVER, it is far from the center and Paraguay or the waterfalls. To get to any of those places you need to take a local bus or uber. Staff - all the staff at the front desk (except for one) were wonderful. Always friendly and willing to provide advice about tourist points. Room - spacious, modern, Very good Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. Fridge and TV worked well. Great view of the city too - we watched the fireworks from our room! Breakfast- typical basic breakfast but delicious with options of eggs, sausages, cheese balls, ham, cheese, breads, fruits and cakes, coffee and juices. Saw 2 cockroaches in our room in the first 2 days there :( Cleaning - On our 3rd day there, the cleaners only made our bed & provided new clean towels BUT did not clean the floor or bathroom or remove the old towels. We had to request that the cleaner return to our room and clean the floors & bathroom. One staff member - We approached one male staff member about the cockroaches we'd seen in our room. He started to make some excuses but never once apologized or offered the possibility of changing rooms. When we tried to discuss it further he was extremely rude and simply walked away from us. We complained to the manager who apologized to us, but it sadly ruined ( a little) of our experience there.
