Tetris Container Hostel

Convenient location and seemed safe. Helpful staff when issues with the room came up.

Good location near good restaurants and staff helped us book a taxi to the falls It was completely dead - no guests or staff. Like a ghost hostel. I can’t understand why they wouldn’t have someone manning reception. The room was very very basic and falling apart. Leaks everywhere, paint peeling. No storage or locker or anything like that. They say breakfast included but couldn’t see any on offer either morning. Weird vibe and quite soulless.

Exceptional

The staff is very nice. A bus stop is just one block away. Overall a pretty cool place, it was just a bit empty as I traveled in the low season The bathroom is quite small and it could use a shelf or something to put your shampoo in the shower. The sink is in the dorm itself. The dorm is also quite packed. The mattress was a bit worn out and appeared quite short (I’m 1,90 m). Overall nothing dramatic

The swimming pool was very nice in this heat. Friendly and English speaking staff. Nice rooms with solid lockers. Every room is only accessible with a key as well. The showers overflow every time. The container set up looks nice but makes it unnecessarily hot. The airco is only on at night, so you can't really use your bedroom for a Siesta or a rest during the afternoon.

Cool concept, nice garden, cool to have free caipirinha every evening, nice location in front of the bus stop to the waterfalls and airport. No air conditioning during the day in the room and pool was quite dirty

Everything was good! Good bed, internet, power outlets next to the next, lamp next to the bed, lockers, kitchen, pool, free caipirinha, the room has AC, kitchen and reception also have AC, helpful and friendly staff. The locaiton is neither good nor bad. It's not central, but it's not isolated either, it's just neutral. There is a supermarket nearby. Other than this there is nothing really bad about it. Maybe staff could keep up with information about the city, such as how to get to places, I asked how to go to Itaipu and they said bus 140, but it was actually 102, and bus 140 doesn't even exist. But in any case I got around easily.

We booked for 4 nights, but only stayed for 1. Our room was right next to the common area, which was incredibly noisy with drum and bass/shouting until late into the night. No hot water from the shower, and plenty of mould in the bathroom. We had food posioning and wanted to rest, and asked to move to a quieter room. We were told there was one available, but that we couldn't change rooms. One night here was too much - we found another place to stay and requested a refund given the circumstances, but management refused our request.
