New Brookfields Hotel

The bed and sheets were cleaned and the bathroom works. Good people, tried hard to help. The hotel kept on sending airport ferry tickets and taxis to different locations or didn’t put our names on the order. It took us 6 hours to come from airport to the hotel.

Nothing was there not to like

They kept facilites clean. The shower sometimes barely had water. Once there simply wasn't any water.

The staff were outstanding, the location was extremely central and convenient, and overall the hotel was the perfect base for our trip. We felt safe, looked after, and welcomed and we most certainly will return. Highlight was breakfast - lots of choice and fresh options. In fact the restaurant’s menu was excellent, offering a range of traditional Salone food as well as other options. Huge thanks again from my mother and I to you all! Una tenki!

Fresh omelettes at breakfast, friendly staff. Nice pool, looked clean. Okay, but small gym...some equipment did not work. Nice dining area. Not good value for money. Swiss Hotel was cheaper and better. Good brakfast, relatively clean rooms, but some mosquitoes. Friendly, but very efficient staff. Agreed to book airport transfer, forgot, the booked, then said they didn't book, then said they did book. Forgot to clean room second day. Bad smell in room. Small cockroach on counter.

The towels are soft and new excellent. Hot water is good. Nice AC, Nice electricity... Thank you so much ? Beautiful cups. Good construction... One coffee ☕️ cup was broken, The hand wash basin was broken, The floor was leaking water after shower... No TV signal and no service help together with me go to my room.

Staff were professional More attention to hygiene

Liked most things. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool. Good fridge and air con very efficient which is really important... Room cleaned every day which we appreciated. No view to speak of, enclosed space looking onto wall of next door school, with corrugated iron covering the ground and the security guard was right by our ground floor balcony which in one way was reassuring but also felt a bit awkward if sitting out there!

Excellent place, near peace museum and road towards Tacugama. Great breakfast, beds and quite airco. Luggage storage available. Excellent pool! Price is high, like allover SL.
