Good size room, TV and shower, with fridge, kettle and coffees Breakfast and dinner were very tasty Nicely decorated, some quirky art Staff at reception were a bit off hand - eg the transport we ordered for the airport was late and they weren't bothered The room smelled smoky, but they said they didn't have another room They ran out of various foods for breakfast and dinner, limiting choices A long way from central town, but easy to get a tuk tuk

Great location in the center of Freetown. The staff is exceptional. They got my laundry done the same night. Everyone is lovely . One of the receptionists took me outside to get a TikTok and ensure I was safely taken care of I just don’t love freetown

Location and room size breakfast could be wider choice

The hotel underwent some significant improvements over the last year, and now has completely new bathrooms, lightning in the rooms and smart tv. Both the internet and the electricity worked 24/7, which is a rarity in Sierra Leone at the moment. The position remains great to reach CBD or the beach quickly, and the staff is as good and welcoming as ever!

Room clean and tidy, location good but noisy, breakfast good, staff good. The hotel is perfectly fine. However, they will use a hotel-specific USD to Leone exchange rate that doesn’t align with the official rate. This resulted in me overpaying for the room, the hotel bill, and the prearranged airport transfer. For example, the price for my room was quoted as roughly £720 on Booking.com but i was charged £790 due to their hotel-specific exchange rate. I would avoid.

Perfect location for our needs, easy to go both downtown and to the beaches, but still quiet at night. Large, comfortable room, excellent bed. Very nice and friendly staff. Standard of plumbing not up to international standards, but well above local average.

Super service from all employees, very lovely people there. Welcoming free drinks at arrival. Good and tasty food there. -

Breakfast was good, the front desk staff went above and beyond to accomadate us. We had one person that needed special accomadations and the staff bent over backwards to see that our needs were met.

It remains in a good location, and while staying at the hotel the stuff was helpful as usual. I have been staying at the Swiss multiple times over the years, awlways for work, but I fear this was my last stay with them. Unfortunately, the quality of the facility and the food has significantly worsened, but this is almost understandable given that the economic condition in Sierra Leone have been too. The straw that broke the camel back - I was double charged for the expenses at the end of my stay, and despite having tried getting in touch with them multiple times via email, phone and WhatsApp, I am yet to receive even a simple acknowledgment of the issue. Theproblem is not the double charging, which might happen, is the poor customer service received afterwards, which makes me feel almost like they want to keep the couple of hundred dollars of double expenses - in this way, they have lost what was once a loyal customer.

It was a really good hotel with convenient rooms, the staff were friendly they solved every requests. The breakfast was great, and the kitchen had a good menu to choose from. It was a little bit noisy because of the traffic.
