Albion Hotel

The location is great and the room very comfortable, lovely sea views. They need to get a grip in the restaurant if they want to keep the type of customer your trying to attract. The food is very good but the staff seem quite disorganised tables left uncleared, orders getting missed. Don’t forget you are competing with the Hut up the road.

This hotel was fine. Room was comfortable. It was needlessly expensive. At £255 a night I would expect more facilities like at least a swimming pool. The restaurant also was very expensive with no option for just a bar meal if wanted. It was the only place to stay on our walk around the coastal path. I wouldn't stay there again.

Great location, great staff and the food was excellent. It would have been nice if the bar had been open.

New, clean, spacious..great staff. The walk in shower was heaven after a long day on coastal path. Fire doors open inward... ?? Our "deluxe" discounted room was in the front of building, so some road & parking noise, but we always carry ear plugs. Even with these issues, it was a 10.

Perfect location. Modern decor. Free parking Some breakfast items not pleasant. Dog friendly restaurant not to my liking, especially the barking & when paying quite a lot for a meal. Perhaps there should be a separate area or eat in the bar.

The room was so nice, and the view was stunning. The breakfast was very good too. Staff are all so friendly and are always willing to help. There is no safetylockers for the valuables.

The hotel is on the beach. It has been refurbished to a very high standard (think Ikos?) The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It's spotless. Staff are very friendly and accommodating- apart from one (see below ?) Only a couple of gripes. One was the Maitre D, seemed to take a dislike to me, or indifference ( the guy with the black eye) I'm not for a moment inferring that he should have cartwheeled to celebrate my arrival or had balloons and blowers etc, but a Good Morning, Good Evening goes a long way?He seemed kind of ok with other patrons? Oh well, you can't win them all?!! The other thing - the coffee in the room was awful...the bar and restaurant was superb, but not the room. Also no electric car charging point?
